Google Nest Learning Thermostat E 3rd Generation Bundle

Just installed yesterday and so far, so good. Fairly easy to do and it was my first time changing something like this. Set up was easy, what wasn’t easy was (a) it wasn’t charged upon delivery and (b) it did not come with a charging device. We had to comb through every single charging cable we had to find one that worked and then it took a good hour to get it to have any amount of charge before we could attach it to the wall mount. All-in-all it seems a good value and will help keep our heating/cooling in the desert at least a little better.

The thermostat I received did not work. The packaging was missing the original plastic seal and appeared to have been previously opened or returned. The unit was also labeled “Pro Edition,” which did not match what I believed I was purchasing from the listing. I contacted the seller before leaving a review and explained the issue, but the only resolution offered was a return after I had already disposed of the defective unit. Based on my experience, I would not purchase this item again.

It's a little time consuming to remove and install the new Nest thermostat along with the app. Once it was completed, it worked like a charm. I made a mistake by not setting up the app on both my phone and my wife's phone. I would leave for work and the thermostat would drop the winter temperature leaving the house a little colder than my wife wanted. Once the app was installed on her phone also, it was happy wife, happy life for me!

Arrived as expected, and there were no issues when installed. I needed to upgrade my t-stat, and this was exactly what I needed to do so. I would purchase again, and I would recommend to others seeking a digital thermostat. I purchased a refurb, so this was a good value for the price paid.

I'm not sure if I have a defective item just have a hard time linking it to my wifi and I have to charge the unit frequently.

Can I leave a zero star review? Installed the product. No problems. Everything was set up perfectly. Then I went on vacation, leaving cat home with a cat sitter dropping in 2 times a day. The thing went crazy. Dropped the temp to 40degrees. To get it back up to temp, the cat sitter had to reinstall the softward twice! Craziness. I don't mind it thinking i am on vacation, but whem you turn the dial up and it refuses, that is insane!

This product took about 6 hours to turn on. So don't be alarmed if it doesn't turn on right a way.. before putting it to the wall I recommend using a phone charger first. To test and see if it turns on then put it to the wall

Easy to use and looks modern.

Super easy to install and setup. Only needs a 2 wire setup for the thermostat. Does not need a c wire to work. Saved me a lot of additional work.

Good product

Don’t purchase the Used version. It arrived with broken wifi. Discoloured and really sticky wheel. I chatted with Google support and they said the warranty was already used up, but offered to send a replacement. Not worth the savings or risk just buy new.

cant use this product in the uk

Had a first generation unit and it worked great. That is no longer supported by Google so upgraded to third generation and it is working great. I can access it from anywhere as long as I have internet access. Would not be with out it.
