Repaired the clu5ch perfectly. Rubber dust caps very hard to fit so I left them off without issue.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  My old clutch linkage came off from wear as they are faulty on twingos clios etc. My car has less than 30k miles. Having no experience with car mechanics and braking down in the middle of nowhere I had no choice put to call a tow company and get taken to the nearest garage. They quoted me between £400-500 for the entire clutch assembly. Or they said they could weld it for £50. So I said weld it as I needed the car to get back and forward to work. Well less than 2 months later the exact thing happened again. Luckily this time I was closer to home and decided to have a look myself. I removed the old clutch linkage, there were no welds!! I popped it back on and within a couple of presses of the clutch pedal it just popped off again. I ordered this part with prime and had it the next day. I fitted the rubber washers then the only tool I used was a large flat nose screw driver to pop the clutch linkage in place. Remember to lube the parts where the ball joints fit then refit the locking pins once in place. The whole job took an hour max and it is now as good if not better than when it was new. I highly recommend installing this part before the faulty part fails.

Original link on the clutch pedal had worn and become loose. This caused the link to detach from the ball joint of the pedal. Renault will only sell the unit (£250) This part solves the issue. Took me about 1 hour to get the new link attached. Had to remove the lower dash board cover and the steering wheel lower cover, even then its still very difficult to attach the link. You have to be very patient, nimble and have a little bit of mechanical knowledge. Best to have a look at what you would need to do before you buy. But this will save you hundreds of pounds!!!
