LED Lights on controllers are so freaking cool.
I received the Haute 42 Hautepad R16 relatively fast after I shipped it and man, it was pretty good.It has a pretty simple setup before getting the controller to work with your games. You might have to watch a (short) YT video about setting it up for your first time though as it comes with a piece of paper whose instructions leave a bit to be desired. After that (small) initial hurdle, you’re good to go.If you’re new to these type of controllers, keep in mind that they primarily work with 2D fighting games and if you try to get them to work with other genres of games (or even non 2D fighting games) you’ll either run into poor results/it not working at all. It’s decently heavy but not so heavy that you couldn’t carry it in a bag. Haute typically has smaller, lighter controllers if that’s more your speed. The Buttons are pretty responsive, not much delay between button press and action which is good. The LED monitor in the top left corner (and the LED buttons light up) perfectly displays what buttons you’re pressing. Also the LED lights are *chef’s kiss*. The design of it is slick and slim, pretty cool if ya ask me.I could definitely say it’s worth the price tag, but again if $100 is a money sink that you’re not willing to put forward, this same company has just as good options at lower price points [also might not have the cool LEDs :( ]

Really fun controller, just some QC concerns
I've really enjoyed using the controller for games such as Tekken and Street Fighter although I initially received had an issue with the usb-c port, although I was able to receive a replacement in only a few days

Surprisingly well-made and quick seller response
I hesitated about the purchase for its price. But I pulled the trigger right before my prime expires, which saved me 1/4 of the cost. It came to me in a plain plastic wrapped envelope with a brown cardboard box inside. But the pad itself and the keys are well made. I only connected it to my PC so far but the response is great and the feel is just there.I initially had some issues with its connection. The seller quickly responded to my inquiry and the issue was resolved.Things to improve: I do wish longer key strokes. They feel somewhat flimsy. I also wish it could be packaged better to avoid any possible shipping damage, though it did not occur to mine.

Tekken 8
Great stick, RGB is customizable, buttons everything is fully customizable. If you’ve got slightly smaller hands this is the best size for you.It would be cooler if we got a free art picture along with the hit box stick.

Awesome fighting board and general controller!
The board has lots of customizable buttons and lights. The switches have good feedback and can be changed. There's also a small screen that shows how the buttons read which is great for giving me visual feedback. The discord for the community also has template files for creating custom skins which are easy to add. Great board and was easy to set up. I also use it for more games just to have a more ergonomic controller. Still getting use to it but man does it feel satisfying.

Pretty good for the cash
I already had the s16 but I wanted smaller buttons and the left pinky L3 instead of a left thumb L3. Overall it’s a little lighter and flimsier than the s16 but the rims on the buttons feel better. My unit came a little bowed and I plan to get a metal bottom plate made for it, but for the money it’s pretty decent. The software is the same as any other gp2040-ce based controller, so you can basically make it do whatever you want from led configuration to bottom layout so long as you can google. I prefer acrylic tops to the all metal m+ series because I can show artwork, so I think I’ll stick with this even when that comes out. For under 75 bucks I don’t think you can really find an all button controller that’s better with the same features.

DId I get what I paid for?
I wanted to learn leverless, so I jumped on youtube to see what pad I should get to learn. Haute42 was everywhere, so naturally, monkey see and monkey do, now I have a Haute42.It is very flimsy. It was mentioned there's some flex, but I felt like it is a bit much. You may want to swap the switches out; the Lofreex Kalih Ghost low profile switches in the Haute42 feel and sound amazing in here, but it doesn't compensate for everything else. I found the configurator to be poor and not friendly. I updated the firmware and followed all the directions from multiple YouTube videos and the instructions, but I couldn't get to the screen to reconfigure my keys. The LEDS didn't want to be the colors I programmed; I had blue for normal, and red for pressed, and it gave me red for normal and blue for pressed.. and that didn't affect the whole pad. The option for r16 isn't there, so it was frustrating to figure out what to do... and it came to me, send it back.I don't know if I got what I paid for... unless I paid $70ish dollars just to be frustrated.
