XIM RLC-079 5J.J7L05.001 Projector Replacement Lamp with Housing Compatible for BenQ HT1075 / HT1085ST / W1070 / W1080ST

This lamp performed well and produced a nice, bright image, but it failed after 115 hours of use. After contacting the seller several times, they eventually honored their stated warranty and I got a replacement. The second lamp chugged along fine until it died after 194 hours.

UPDATE: 3 Months later 1 out of 2 bulbs has shattered. Works as described. I have a 2nd projector with the factory bulb. The factory bulb is brighter than this bulb. "Update" 2nd projector bulb was replaced with the same Amazon bulb and its brighter. So it must be a color wheel issue, unless every bulb is different. Its been a few months now and the bulb is still working.

After a few hundred hours, the bulb made a loud "pop" and exploded in the projector. Luckily most of the pieces of glass stayed within the housing and it doesn't seem to have harmed the projector. Contacted SunnyPro and asked what they could do to help with the situation since it only had a couple hundred hours. To be fair, it had been 9 months since I purchased it, but it was purchased as a backup at first until I needed it, so it wasn't used for several months. I explained the situation and they wrote back "9 months?" and that was it. I responded again explaining I knew it was 9 months, but never heard from them again.

Installation was easy. The quality appeared decent while clearly being an off market bulb. The bulb I received produced a picture that was yellowish in tint, dim and then exploded. So that explained the low cost of the bulb.

Initial quality seemed decent. It is clearly a knockoff bulb. I have 1 hour on the bulb so far. No noticeable color issues. Ask me what I am at for hours and I'll respond. Giving it 5 stars for now.

So I have over 6000 hours on this lamp, still seems great. Going to buy another one just to make sure I have it on hand when this one finally bites the dust.

I bought this as a backup and finally needed it yesterday. It exploded within 5 minutes leaving shards of glass inside my projector.

3 weeks in and going strong. No noticeable drop in brightness. For $35 you can't beat it. I'll update if there are any malfunctions.

Cette lampe générique est spécifiée pour le modèle du Benq W1070/W1080ST. J'ai perdu 35 euros. Quand je l'installe, l'image apparaît correctement pendant 20 secondes, mais elle se met à clignoter, puis la lampe s'éteint, et enfin le projecteur s'éteint avec le voyant d'erreur rouge "lampe". Cherchez l'erreur. Faut-il acheter la marque OSRAM P-VIP 240 0.8 E20.9n ou s'agit-il d'une autre pièce ? Merci! si quelqu’un peux me donner des infos.

The lamp does work but is about the same brightness as the one it replaced which had 3500 hours on it. Going to get a genuine lamp and keep this as a spare.

Juste parfait, pour moins de 40€ je me retrouve avec un video-projecteur tout neuf, montage ultra facile, qualité identique à l'original. Bref parfait. Mon Benq W1070 est comme neuf Je reviens sur mon commentaire, l'ampoule ne fonctionne plus au bout de deux mois

Lampe déballée RAS très bien emballée Installée RAS même produit Par contre une fois installée luminosité très faible et 1 heures après ... Morte . Donc fortement contrarié . Je déconseille Fortement

Great bulb, looks great, been using it for 4 months now 4hrs+ a day. I will always buy these 40$ bulbs. If their warranty and brightness are equal then why spend 160+ on OEM.
