Great CD
This is one of my favorites and I still have it on cassette ;so was very happy to find on cd. I wanted the original version ; so was a little disappointed to find out it is a remastered version but sounds good , but not as good as original in my opinion.

Top Glam Metal Album
Just started re listening to some glam metal albums that I haven't heard since 1988, having moved on to other genres. This LP sounds way better then the cassette I played the hell out of back in the day. Funny how I remember most of the lyrics and song structure after almost 40 yrs, must have left a big impression. Anyhow, these guys are really good musicians and crafted some really catchy songs that defined that glam era. The 2nd side is the best, even though the songs were not the singles. For lighthearted fun metal with layered melodic riffs , you can't go wrong.

Right now....and how...
Ratt was looking to avoid the sophomore slump when in July of 1985 they released `Invasion of Your Privacy' and in many ways they succeeded. Although it would be fair to say that Ratt peaked with `Out of the Cellar', the second LP was a more than competent slice of Hollyrock, like a summer's evening on the Sunset Strip. It was on `Invasion' that Warren De Martini solidified his position as Ratt's main lead guitarist and tasty would be a fair description of this man's licks. I remember seeing the debut of the video for "Lay It Down" and to this day it remains my favorite Ratt track and DeMartini goes all Joe Perry on ya! "You're in Love" was an outstanding opener with another hilarious video featuring Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland and Ronald Reagan! "Between the Eyes" is probably the real unsung tune on the record and has a great verse and melody. The aggression of Pearcy's voice matched very well with the pop sensibility which is why Ratt was able to carve a niche for themselves during the hair metal era. "Closer to My Heart" and "Give It All" and "Got Me on the Line" are all enjoyable slices of Ratt n' roll and are along with the aforementioned songs why I always like albums one and two about the same. It was after the second that the law of diminishing returns started to catch up to Ratt. Still "Invasion of Your Privacy" is as glossy and glamorous as a metal album that you would find in the mid-eighties.

RATT really Laid it down
RATT is an amazing glam rock band straight off the sunset strip in the mid 80’s with their debut album out of the cellar landing on this amazing 2nd recordInvasion of Your Privacy. From front to back this album has no bad songs from it’s singles Lay it Down and You’re In Love. Robbin King Crosby and Warren DeMartini just make this album blister and show us what the 80’s was really like with their guitars. With Stephen Pearcy’s scratchy yet entertaining vocals to Juan Crouciers beautiful rhythm on bass and Bobby Blotzers slamming drum tracks Invasion of Your Privacy is a must have for any long time or new fan of RATT and with this great BMG remaster sounds even more amazing no audio blemishes that analog tap can cause like skips pops and ticks every track sounds awesome definitely worth a listen so what are you waiting for let’s Lay It Down with RATT
