Great line for internal use
This is my second wall mounted line - only changed the first because of many years of use some of the lines were not able to be used at full tension. This is used in my utility room, is permanently up and a great asset for hanging washing on and also for ironed shirts that nead to air for a while. Would highly recommend

Very solid hanger
This is a really good product. Quite easy to install, although check where all the screws are going to go before you start - I had a cable issue when I installed mine! Only slight criticism is that one of the strings doesn't pull completely tight but that's not a bit issue.

Old school, but still relevant
These have a reputation for lasting absolutely yonks! mines been up a while now ( a five minute job) and has been put under significant load.... its still on the wall and functioning perfectly. Give me a shout in 20 years ad I'll tell you if I've had it re-strung yet.

Collapsed immediately!
First of all, don’t bother with the supplied plugs. They are way too small. I’ve never come across a clothes line that only screws on one side. The bracket on the lift is not sufficient to hold the line up. So I hung my clothes on the first three inner lines, no problems then went to have linen on front two lines, the whole thing collapsed. Line sagged and came away from wall. I wish I hadn’t thrown the box 🤦♀️

perfect choice
this product is fabulous mega handy. as the last one lasted 20+ yrs it was a no brainer to puchase another one as a replacement, excellent quality very easy to install would defo recommend.

Rubbish
The lines wouldn't retract after a few times

What a shame
I had to replace my old (25y+) Leifheit wash line. Therefore I was pleased that I found an extremely similar Leifheit product. It arrived promptly. It was unwrapped and I found that the fixing had been changed. My more than 25 year old wash-line could be taken down by simply unhooking it from the wall. I used to be able to take it down and move it to the garage in bad weather. The new system needs to be fixed to the wall permanently. What a shame, but I hope the new one will see me out….
