Great book to add to my library collection

Really lovely book for PSED in reception and for interventions

I purchased this book to help my 4 year old who recently developed selective mutism. It was a great choice. My son enjoyed listening to the book several times, and he took it to his daycare to share with his friends.

I bought this book for my son who has Selective Mutism (anxiety that prevents him from speaking in class). He's 4 year's old and this book was perfect - it follows the story of a giraffe who wants to talk and share his show & tell item but is worried about what will happen when he speaks in class. And of course, nothing bad happens (even to the critter who mispronounces a word). Great story!

cute book about a boy too shy to present in show and tell, in the end he does and it all works out well. Doesn't teach too much about shyness, but its a good little reminder or conversation starter for my little guy who is very very shy and nervous to make mistakes!
