Perfect for struggling readers
Great daily exercises. This is very simple beginning type phonics work for 4-6 grade but reading has always been a struggle for my older kids. Helps fill in gaps or give extra practice where they need help.

Great for intervention, not for an on level 4th grader.
I was a bit disappointed and that's not the usual with this company. If you're speller requires a completely fresh start in phonics, this is great. Or maybe you use it for intervention or review. However, if you're needing something in level, you will not have a full 30 weeks of rigorous practice.

For younger children
Grade 4-6+ is a terrible idea! The first 3 weeks is a review of the alphabet. An entire week worth of work can be done in less than 10 minutes for a child who is older than 7 years. Would be great for a kindergarten.

Good Resource
I purchased this to use at school. Great literacy review for students. I like the layout of the book, it gives teaching suggestions before each week of daily worksheets, which is helpful. Good resource. Great for at-home learning as well!
