Quiet, soft, comfortable, stable, perfect case, looking no further.
I have been searching for the perfect pair of earplugs that don't slip out of my ear as I turn in my sleep and are just as comfortable when I sleep on my side as my back (tend to be a slide sleeper). In the 4 weeks since purchase, I have used them probably 10-15 times, and they only fell out one night that i can recall. They seem to just fit my ear canal so much better than other brands and stay secure, and muffle my partner's snoring enough that it's barely audible (low frequency). And they're soft and comfortable for 7-8 hours through the night with no uncomfortable pressure points on the canal or the outer ear. And the case itself is TINY and securely closes - perfect for popping in my travel case but big enough not to get lost. Others found it hard to position them, but they seem relatively natural after the third or fourth time. You can easily tell when you're inserting the wrong one in the L or R ear. If these did not work, I was about to try some of the ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) models out there - but truly I no longer need them. Overall really glad I kept these Alpine earpligs versus the others I ordered - TOAPEX -45db earplugs, Loop Quiet 2, Loop Dream. None of those models stayed put i my ear, and were uncomfortable in one way or another.

These may be my go to ear plugs!
I am becoming a lighter sleeper as I get older, and so taking CBN . After trying 8 different varieties of ear plugs I think I finally found a pair that will work for me. I live in a nice area but between airplanes flying until midnight, birds chirping and general noise I need something to fit solid in my ears Tried these last night and so far seems to work Good fit, comfortable for a side sleeper and great price Not a complete blocking of noise but muffled enough to fall asleep. If these work I may invest in another pair just to have on hand Hope this review helps those searching for a good fit and diminishing sound

Comfortable, secure, and surprisingly good at noise blocking
TL;DR: These earplugs solved a very specific but frustrating problem for me: needing different-sized tips in each ear without constantly mixing them up. The clearly marked left and right sides, plus the fixed positions in the case, make them incredibly easy to use quickly when I'm overwhelmed by noise when out and about. They are also much more comfortable and practical than other options: they fit tiny, and will definitely be good for side-sleeping. As for the noise blocking, they’re better than I expected, especially considering I usually need triple-flange "Christmas tree" style earplugs to get a proper seal. They're definitely expensive for passive silicone earplugs, but the comfort, usability, quality and solid noise reduction still make them worthwhile as a primary, good-quality pair. PROS: 🥳 Clear left/right design makes using different-sized tips effortless 🥳 Very comfortable and secure, even for larger ear canals 🥳 Good noise reduction without feeling bulky or hard to insert 🥳 Case is small, practical and secure, great for quick use outdoors CONS: 😩 Expensive for passive silicone earplugs 😩 Noise isolation is slightly weaker than high-end filtered earplugs DETAILED REVIEW: FIT AND DESIGN: One of my ears needs a larger tip than the other, and most earplugs make this surprisingly annoying to deal with. Usually, I'd have to stop and carefully compare both tips before putting them in the correct ear. That becomes a pain when you're outside and need to put them in quickly before some painfully loud vehicle or screaming child passes by 😅 These completely solved that problem for me. The left and right earplugs are clearly marked, impossible to confuse, especially because each fits only its designated side, and each has its own dedicated spot in the case. That means I can safely use two different tip sizes without constantly checking which is which. It sounds minor, but for daily use it makes a huge difference. What's tricky for me is that the "wrong" size can still kind of fit in either ear. The only real sign something is off is that more outside noise starts leaking through after a while. So having a system that prevents accidental swapping is genuinely useful. Having said this, I would really like one of these brands to include more "granular" sizing on the upper end rather than on the lower end. I'm 6'4", so S and XS is unusable for me; but I would generally benefit from better-fitting tips that fall between M and L. That is to say, I feel there's a much more pronounced size difference between M and L than XS and S. COMFORT AND EAR SEAL: I honestly doubted these would work for me at all, as I have tested several similar one-flange earplugs and they either don't fit well or are very lacklustre in terms of blocking noise. I have larger ear canals, and normally the only earplugs that seal properly for me are the triple-flange ones that look like little Christmas trees. So I was rather surprised when these still worked really well. They probably don't block quite as much noise as my higher-end filtered earplugs from a Swiss brand I bought in Europe (those are triple-flange, as well), but the difference is smaller than I expected. These still block enough noise to make being outside much more manageable and less overwhelming. And because they're small and comfortable, then it’s definitely a plus, and any small trade-off in terms of noise suppression is acceptable. So the comfort is a huge advantage, too. I can wear them longer without getting irritated, and they feel less intrusive than bulkier designs. You really don't notice them when they're in. The shape well into your ear because they're soft. They hardly weigh anything. And they're barely noticeable for people around you (if that's an issue for you). This all means that they're definitely great for side-sleeping; for this case, they're the best I've seen. If anything, I would really recommend them for sleeping. PRACTICALITY: The shape is genuinely well thought out. Instead of large loops, these use small arrow-like grips that are actually easier to hold and guide into the ear. I found them more ergonomic overall. The case is also excellent. The earplugs slide in easily and stay secure: even if you open it up, turn it upside down and start shaking the case, they won’t drop! This matters a lot if you're trying to put them away or take them out quickly while out and about, especially with urgency when you know a horrible sound is coming. I never felt like they were going to fall out of the case when opening it in a hurry. And, let me tell you, I've dropped several others, several times… You never want to put in your ear a dirty plug. VALUE FOR MONEY: This is probably the hardest part to justify. These are expensive for what are passive silicone earplugs. For instance, I've owned decent in-ear JBL headphones that cost about half as much, and those contain actual electronics and drivers instead of just molded silicone. Still, the design solves a real usability problem for me, and the comfort plus convenience ended up mattering more than I expected. So I might not buy these as my one-and-only solution, but I will have them handy for when I feel I need a high-end, comfortable, earplug. (If they last very long then, yeah, maybe I could buy a couple of pairs to have lying around.) FINAL THOUGHTS: These won't be the absolute strongest noise-blocking earplugs available, but they strike a really good balance between comfort, practicality, and effective noise reduction. They're especially worth considering if you struggle with different ear sizes or need something fast and easy to use when overstimulated in noisy environments. If anything, I would really recommend them for sleeping. The price feels high, but the thoughtful design ended up making daily use much less frustrating.

Works just great when used properly
Although, they don’t block out every noise, 100%, they are the best that, I’ve found. After trying various foam earplugs which fell out or didn’t effectively block noise, the best I previously found were the silicone ones that were only good for a few nights, or they no longer stick then had to be thrown away. If inserted properly these earplugs do work and lay flat within the ear so as not to be uncomfortable for side sleepers. Ignore some of the negative reviews. As with so many reviews on Amazon when you have a disproportionately low number of negative reviews, many people are not following directions or using the product correctly. The review that said, the tip came out and became lodged in his wife’s ear was only because she did not make sure the tip was on securely. It takes a bit of a tug to get the tips off in order to change them and they have to be completely attached before using. This doesn’t just happen. As far as noise reduction, I have not been sleeping next to a snorer, or near any railroad tracks but one of our dogs is a barker and there’s no telling what might set her off. Since using these earplugs, I can’t hear her. Also, there are right and left earplugs as well as proper placement on one’s ear. I found that I could still hear noise if they weren’t inserted properly. I’ve only had these a few weeks so will have to write a later update on how long they are effective.

Highly Superior and Reasonably Priced.
I tried everything. These are far superior to any options including Loop. These ear plugs are easy to insert and lie completely flat. With Loop you have to push and twist until you get a seal. It is annoying and they sometimes fall out. Don’t assume your ears are the same size. Multiple plug sizes are provided

Hard to insert, caused discomfort
Pros: --Nice travel case is included --4 different sizes of plug are included, to find the best fit --Noise reduction is good, but not as good as simple foam-type plugs. Cons: --I found it very difficult to insert the plugs, and the "instructions" on the product page are not very helpful. These are unusually shaped earplugs, and it's not obvious how to insert them correctly, but the instructions say only " Gently insert the earplug into the ear, making sure the V-shaped body is properly nested within the ear canal." One shouldn't need a mirror to make sure ear plugs are inserted correctly. --As a side sleeper, I found the V-shaped base frequently caught on the pillow case, causing discomfort. --Frequently, I would wake up to find the plug still in my ear, but in a position where it no longer blocked noise, requiring another struggle to get the plug back in. Obviously, everyone's ears are different, so I can only talk about my own experience, but I found these earplugs uncomfortable and difficult to use. I will be switching back to foam plugs.

Didn't work for me
I REALLY wanted to like these. As a side sleeper, I found that they truly were comfortable to wear. Great fit, nice options for ear piece sizes, wonderful packaging. But they did not muffle sound when used for sleeping. If anything - is it even possible? - it seemed they amplified sounds for me. While comfortable for side sleeping, they didn't actually reduce sound to help me sleep. I did order the company's "deep sleep" ear plugs, too, so while these are going back, I am still hopeful that Alpine will come through.

Comfortable, cheap, reusable
I use earplugs nightly for sleep, have what I consider average sized ears, am a side sleeper, and very sensitive to noise. Pros -Reusable: I’ve used disposable foam and that got pricy at 1 use only and 10 use wax which was technically cheaper if I could use them 10x. Unfortunately I produce a lot of earwax so it felt gross to use more than 6-7 times so I wasn’t getting my money’s worth -Comfortable: I side sleeper and the medium that comes standard fits perfectly. The weird V shape keeps it in place and doesn’t add odd pressure like music earbuds (I’ve tried AirPods and similar). I find it 100x more comfortable than foam which felt too long and stuck out. It was better than wax which after too many uses kept falling out -Cheap: quality is good. Nothing special and not super pricy. It’s worth the one time cost (maybe two if I need to replace in many years) Cons (causing one star loss) -Noise cancelling ability: you get what you pay for. This obviously states the decibel levels it blocks. Compared to wax this barely blocks sound. Do not expect to sleep through traffic, loud snoring partner, baby cries, or anything serious. I luckily sleep with white noise machines and it combines well enough that my brain will shut off and let me sleep through snoring. I wish they could make this exact design block out some more noise -V shape: this thing is NOT customizable. If your ears are slightly smaller or bigger than what this was designed for it may fall out or be very uncomfortable. I will update if anything changes as it’s only been a month of use

Best ear plugs for sleep!!
I've struggled with being woken by even the slightest noise for years, which leaves me with broken sleep and fatigue. I had noisy neighbours last year which made the issue so much worse. I searched for all kinds of earplugs. Loop didn't stay in overnight for me and left my ears a bit sore. Flare ones were noisy when my head moved on the pillow, like having a straw in each ear, as well as being a bad fit and falling out. Silicon earplugs have been my go to because they do the job, but they leave my ears damp inside which often leads to inflammation. These little beauties work for me! I use the XS fitting, which is just right. They stay in, they're comfortable, no noise when I brush against the pillow during the night, no residual moisture build up in my ears by the morning and they look cute. Finally, ones that are a good fit for me! I'm very fussy with sensations and noises and I think I've finally found my solution ear plugs. Game changer!
