A great product, No leaks.
Before my wife's knee surgery the hospital offered the option of purchasing an ice machine to aid the healing process. Purchased a large silicon cold bag for the first knee, which worked well but had to be in the freezer for a couple of hours before using again. Decided to research the machine as a more efficient option. Picked the eluga.pro as the best value for quality and reliability. We have been very satisfied so far. Simple to set up and use. I use 4 frozen bottles of water and the water stays ice cold all day. Wife loves the automatic adjustable timer. Been using it every day for over a week now. No problems, no leaks.

Best cold therapy ever.
I got this for upcoming knee surgery, but set it up and tried it out to make sure it was OK, and now I am using it every day for my knee AND an arthritic shoulder- is the perfect amount of cooling and works much better than the reusable gel pads that I have used in the past. I got it because it said Made in USA BUT, the actual pad/hose attachment came in a bag that said it was made in China. And this part looks a little cheesy, I hope it lasts. I used the frozen bottles which was a great idea, I think they would have lasted 24 hrs, but am refreezing after 16. I don't have any if the drip problems mentioned in other reviews, but I AM going to stock up on replacement parts. I am only using the timer each time I use it, am not sure if it is programmable to cycle, but I don't need that function anyway. But all in all, I wish I had bought one of these years ago for icing after lots of activity for my "bad knee" and injuries to my "good knee" .

Good size for loading up with ice or frozen water bottles or both! But has some connector issues!
We are switching over to this from a 10 year old Breg Polar Ice Cube we purchased then for $300. The Breg started leaking and there is no way to replace the hose where it hooks into the actual lid. Purchasing a Breg replacement would of been over twice what we had originally paid, plus the Breg was not conducive to filling up with frozen water bottles due to the pump being built into the lid. We thought we would try this Beluga. We’re concerned about the pump being out in the open, but figure it it failed, we would be able to replace it easier. The price was right. It is tall/large enough to hold numerous frozen water bottles which saves on finding enough ice to keep it cold enough. You can combine water bottles and ice to make it last all night. The only downfall are the connectors. I just had knee replacement and an ice machine is a must, but I was used to just leaving the pad on my knee and disconnecting at the hose connectors. These are cheaply made. We just got this yesterday and have already had issues trying to disconnect and connect. My husband had some silicone lube that helps to make it easier, but with how they have it set up the single connectors twirl and twist around and when you go to push them on the o-rings slide out of their slot. There are two hose connections, one closer to unit and another midway and then the pad hooks on. None of connectors are permanently affixed to the connectors we found—like tubing to a fish aquarium. I took the double connectors off of the old Breg and we are going to try and use those to replace the one connection where I would normally disconnect when getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. He is also going to more permanently secure the tubing to the other connectors so they don’t accidentally pop off and make a water mess. For now, taking off the whole pad from my knee seems to work. It also would be nice to have a little bit longer tubing and power cord too. There are some improvements to make to this item, but it does cool nicely after just having knee replacement and with more knee replacements in our future, it will be nice to use it without fearing a leak. I think I will get with the company to try and get knew connectors for closer to the unit too-what we thought was condensation seems to be a small leak at that connection too. Not really into having to fix newly bought stuff that we need right now and can;t afford to return.

Every household should own one of these machines
In February, I had a knee replacement surgery. Originally, I was going to have delivered an ice machine through a company recommended by my surgeon. That company wanted almost $400 to RENT an ice machine for TWO weeks. After I received that information, I came to Amazon and was searching for machines. This is the one I chose. It did not disappoint! Not only did it cost half of the medical supply, but I would own it! After a knee replacement, I used it a heck of a lot longer than two weeks! I ordered the programmable unit and the time worked beautifully, 20 minutes on, 40 minutes off. All one has to do is put four frozen water bottles in the unit and fill with water. We had eight bottles frozen and we only had to change the bottles once every eighteen to twenty-four hours. The only downside is the pad was just a little uncomfortable at times but that was not even enough to cause me to give this product less than five stars. BEST PRODUCT EVER!

Great for knees
very simple to operate without the timer unit or with. Easy to move with the carry handle and relatively compact when stored with most of it able to fit inside the cooler. Holds the water cold for a long time using frozen water bottles which are easy to swap out. Does not leak at hose connections.

It Worked Great But Then.....
This was fabulous after my knee replacement surgery, a real life saver. However, part of the hose connector at the igloo came apart causing it to leak and we cannot figure out how to repair it. I sent numerous emails to the company email address that was included in the packaging, including photos requesting assistance for replacement parts. This fell on deaf ears with zero response from the company. Two years later, we needed a working machine for yet another surgery. So we ordered a new one and the failure point on the original unit was reengineered on the new version, which indicates they recognized a design flaw. We are so disappointed in the company's customer service as we have now invested another $200. Buyer Beware. We would love to hear from the company about this.
