It works incredibly well, but you need to play with the settings a bit on Android
UPDATED: Out of the box, D-pad doesn't work on Android without in the default settings. All other buttons work fine, mapped to the same buttons an Xbox controller uses, across 5 tested games. It works fine on PC, while connected via Bluetooth or USB-C (which also charges it).The key is to force Left-Stick operation when on Android, and hold the buttons for a little longer until you definitely see the flash. You'll see the flash in either PC (orange) or Bluetooth (cyan) mode, and you can change stick-mapping freely.RESET DPAD FUNCTION BACK TO DEFAULT -- doesn't do anything on Android.Press and hold Dpad and Minus Button (-) for 5 seconds. The status LED will blink and then turn back to solid.CHANGE DPAD TO FUNCTION AS LEFT STICK -- THIS is the Android setting!Press and hold Dpad and Minus Button (-) for 5 seconds. The status LED will blink and then turn back to solid.CHANGE DPAD TO FUNCTION AS RIGHT STICKPress and hold Dpad and Minus Button (-) for 5 seconds. The status LED will blink and then turn back to solid.

Awesome! Perfect for what it's designed for.
Awesome little controller! I love this thing. Not sure why it has any less than 5 stars. It's been nothing less than excellent in my opinion. I've gamed on it for hours at a time without any issues. And I don't have small hands. Buttons are nice and clicky, they don't feel spongy at all. It connects to Bluetooth no problem. Just make sure you read directions as there is a different combination of buttons for to connect to different types of devices.. for instance android is down plus the crkd button and a computer is up plus the crkd button. And if you have paired to one before just quickly press the appropriate button combo to reconnect to whichever device.I didn't like the "keychain" or lanyard as a keychain. It's too long and the controller has no protection leaving it dangling to banged and scratched up. So I bought this nice little leather Hide and Drink car key fob case for it. Fits perfectly. And provides a decent amount of protection. Absolutely love it. I picked it up on sale for like $15.99 or so but I'd have been happy paying full price as well.

It's super tiny.
Exactly as described. Super tiny. Lol. With bigger hands I find the shoulder buttons to be practically unusable. It is really cool though and gives me an even more portable option to my 8bitdo. I don't retro all that much and most of my games require a joystick so it's really more of a keychain for me but still my coolest keychain.

Cool Controller
I use this product for Anki on a Mac and it works really well. It was easy to connect to my laptop and also really easy to program. It is a slightly smaller than the 8BitDo Zero 2 and a bit heavier. The 8BitDo controller feels a little better in my hand because it is a little bigger but this one works just as well. It looks much cooler than the 8BitDo controller which is why I got this one.My only complaint is that when I first connected it to my computer it was doing this weird thing where whatever I had pulled up on my computer would slowly scroll down constantly and would let me scroll up easily. I am not sure what that was but it seems to have gone away after a couple hours of using it. It also sometimes is a little finicky when reconnecting with my computer (I've only had an issue with this once so far). This is why I deducted a star.**Update: I’ve been using this for about a month and it’s become impossible to use. Sometimes it will register one button click as two and sometimes it won’t register at all. I wish I could return this but it’s been too long. This remote is useless now because of this. It’s a waste of money if you actually want to use it for anything other than a keychain.

Compact SNES-Style gamepad, excellent color options
I’ve been curious about this brand CRKD (pronounced “cracked”) since they released their NitroDeck grip for Nintendo Switch because I thought the product was cool but I already had so many Joycons and controller grips for my Nintendo Switch that it didn’t seem worth the high price. But, when I saw that this new Atom controller was available, I definitely had to try it.This CRKD Atom is a miniaturized SNES-Style gamepad with four total shoulder buttons like a normal controller (instead of only two like on the SNES controller). This makes it somewhat more useful with Switch and modern games, although since you only have a d-pad, you cannot play 3D games with this. I mean you can try but it won’t work because you will have no way to control your character (unless movement is already mapped to the d-pad and not the left analog stick) or the camera. The controller is easy to pair with the Nintendo Switch, which is the platform I chose to use for testing this controller- specifically with Nintendo Switch Online subscription service. The retro consoles like NES, SNES, Gameboy Advance, and OG Gameboy are perfect for a controller like this with no analog sticks. Using the controller feels good, the buttons are nice and responsive and the d-pad is well made and hitting the diagonal directions feels correct. The face buttons are using the traditional membrane style of mechanism, so they aren’t loud or clicky feeling. The controller does have a home button but there is no capture/screenshot button which is usually standard on Switch controllers, so be aware of that if you like to use the system’s built-in ability to take screenshots or record clips of gameplay.Since this controller is from CRKD, you can link it to their app if you create an account. You use your iPhone’s NFC reader to tap the controller to your phone and that’s how it can tell you how rare the controller is. This feels kind of pointless and unnecessary, it feels like they came up with this idea during the NFT craze and they thought people would be more interested in their product …I guess? I don’t see why though, gaming companies seem interested in blockchain/NFT technology but I’ve never known gamers to care about this type of stuff at all.The best thing about this product lineup IMO is all of the color choices, I absolutely love this Atomic Purple color and I think the PAL grey is pretty snazzy as well. I included photos of the Atom controller next to my Switch OLED and an 8bitdo Pro 2 controller so that you can see how small it is relative to items that you may already own and be familiar with.

Very functional
Thought it was novelty when I bought it but was pleasantly surprised on how functional it was. Good product!
