Timesulin for Sanofi Solostar

A really useful device to prevent the accidental double dose of insulin. No more staying up all night to eat carbs to counteract the double dose of insulin I mistakenly administered to myself!!

I like this item. Very useful for checking if or/and when last insulin was taken. Only two issues: 1. that it resets too quickly for my liking. and 2. I don't think the batteries can be replaced without damaging the item. (I have not seen it covered in the instructions). Not exactly cheap to replace the complete cap when batteries run out especially if you have two different types of insulin pens needing to be taken at different times.

It is as good as I expected

I have bought two of these in the last few years and have welcomed the reassurance of being able to double check that I have given myself a jab. THE BIG PROBLEM is that you cannot replace the battery and they lay about 2.5 years tops. It would be sooooo easy to incorporate a replaceable battery, but the company obviously prefers to design in industrial obsolescence for regular repeat business. This strikes me as so off trend I will not buy again until they incorporate a replaceable battery. Have they not caught up with climate change issues?

This device does record the time lapse between use , it is a pity it does not have some way of recording the dose as well
