Women's Viking Vixen Costume

My bf wore this to a viking-themed camping and canoeing weekend trip with his friends. He looked hilarious and he said the outfit was surprisingly durable and comfortable to wear. He was a big fan of the cape, and I was impressed with it too. Much better quality than I was expecting. However, everything else is fairly cheaply made, but still looks pretty good. It is also incredibly short (he's 6 feet, so this was made even more apparent. His waist is 32 and we got a M, everything else fit as expected). All this aside, he'd buy it again.

I’m 5’11, 260lbs and the size XL was perfect for me. The headpiece came broken but I wasn’t planning on using it anyway. I also didn’t use the cape because I feel like the color didn’t go with the rest of the costume. There were pieces of Velcro attached to the dress for the cape that were kind of annoying since they couldn’t be removed but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall this costume was amazing, we got so many compliments at the Halloween party we went to. Now we want to find other events to wear our viking outfits too!

I enjoyed this costume last Halloween. I typically wear a med dress 8-10 but I ordered the large because of other reviews and I was glad I did. It was comfy and fit as expected, I felt that the dress was more of a tunic than a dress (because it was soooo short) so I wore it with brown leggings and boots. The corset was a bit flimsy and the top kept flipping down and the corset kept slipping down, but it looked cute and we got lots of compliments on our outfits. The headpiece included was adorable but it is also a cheap flimsy plastic and has no back to it. Overall, I was pleased with the costume but just be reminded it is a Halloween costume not an oscar winning wardrobe piece. I loved the colors of the blue and the cape was very soft and complimenting! It does not come with weapons.

I like the costume! The quality is on point for the price paid.My stats: 66 inches tall, bust is 38 inches, waist is 29.5, hips are 40 and I weigh 165 with an athletic build (not a runner's athletic build, but a weightlifter build). So by the size chart I am an XS on height, M on bust, M/L on waist, M/L on hips, and XL on weight.... All that being said, I got a size M because of the bust measurement and the fact that I am closer to the M measurements than the L measurements in the areas where there was overlap. I will say that the skirt portion is a littler short in back, but I think that is due to my build. The bust region is comfortable, and the waist fits just fine. Because the leather corset part is adjustable, I think if you are in between an M and L, you could get away with a size M.All in all, I like the costume and I would purchase from this company again. I think it is a fair price for the quality of the product.

It doesn’t look anything like the picture. The model has to be 8 feet tall for it to be that short. I’m only 5’2” but this thing looked like shreks wedding dress sloppy to the floor and the corset was thin floppy plastic with a pantyhose type of back for the stretch factor. Definitely don’t recommend it’s better to just get pieces and make your own.

The outfit is cute. Headpiece was broken and belt was missing and laces for corset.

Very comfortable, cute, and all I had to get was the boots. The cape was warm it was really cold outside . The only thing with the cape is you need to pin it not just Velcro to stay in . I got so many compliments and the material is soft !

Three of us bought this costume to wear in exhibition rides on our Icelandic horses. Um, except we actually wear pants with it! I bought a small and the tunic runs large. Had to use some safety pins on it. Everything else fits fine. The cape is a nice quality, which surprised me given the price for the whole costume. The cape stays on with Velcro, but we had to pin it on to stay in place when we ride. I made faux fur leggings to go with the outfit, because it’s hard to ride in stiletto boots (which are not part of the costume, much to my husband’s dismay). Good value and has held up nicely.
