Boye 70420 Single Point Aluminum Knitting Needles 10", Size 8/5mm

Love the Boye brand knitting needles. They last forever and are very durable. I just wish this came in a different color other than gold….i would return to find other colors but I need size 8mm needles.

Ok I don't know why amazon thinks knitting needles are a "toy" but whatever. These needles are very nice. I had been using acrylic needles and hated them. The yarn does not glide easily on acrylic. But these needles are perfect! They yarn glides beautifully on them. Not too much, not too little. Just right, for me, anyway. They seem to be quite strong and will resist bending or breaking. I've stepped on the end of one (OUCH!) and it barely bent. Not really noticeable so I don't worry about it. So overall value - 5/5.

I love then very much I have been usig it for I think about 3 months now. The one problem I have with it is that since it’s metal it’s sometimes a little dry(idk if that’s the best word to explain it) but it’s not that slick and such but overall GREAT PRODUCT. Definitely recommend for a novice knitter which I am.

Ok needles for small knitting projects but I should have ordered longer knitting needles for casting 45 rows. End yarn keeps slipping off. But, works if cautious.

These are the very first needles I've ever used. My Aunt taught me to crochet when I was younger, but I've always wanted to learn knitting. The Boye 10-inch Aluminum Knitting Needles are smooth and this beginner has had no problem with stitches slipping or any other issues. They are easy to handle, not too long. I love the slight clink and slide sound that comes from using them. All in all they are a real pleasure to work with, and I plan on buy other sets in other sizes from this brand.

Great needles. Size 8 is maybe a little small for me, but works perfectly with all your medium thickness yarns.

I find this needle easier to use than a wooden one. Yarn easily slides and easy to control. Highly recommended :)
