Good sound

Works great
I read a lot of different product reviews and finally landed on this one to buy. Even though there are some iffy reviews still, mine works great. I like to fall asleep listening to podcasts, and I don't want to use Bluetooth. Since I don't have a headphone jack on my phone I got headphones that plug into the charging port. Sometimes I need to charge and listen at the same time, and this allows me to do that. I plug in each cord to their respective ports, and then plug it into my phone. So far after a couple months the one is still working great and I haven't needed to use the second one. Nice to have a backup though just in case.

NOT as advertised!
Neither piece worked as advertised. These will NOT charge your phone and allow you to listen to music (through auxiliary port) in your car at the same time. Returning for a complete refund!

Has key features the phone doesn't come with
Does exactly what the single USB C port on the iPhone 16 Pro lacks, actual audio out while also being able to simultaneously being able to charge the phone. Build quality is great

Takes over audio output
As soon as I plug it in, audio is rerouted to it. I cant get the audio to go to the speaker for some reason. So you either have it plugged in and headphones on, or dont.My intended use was for it to make it easier to plug things into my kids tablet since it had a big bulky foam case.

Good converter with charging ability
It works with Pixel 8 and 2024 iPad Mini gen.7 with no issues. As experiment, I also connected other USB-C devices than audio converters. It works with USB flash drives connected to USB-C port marked as audio and yes you can copy files even on iPad Mini. It works with legacy USB Ethernet converter for wired network (SIIG adapter that you should find here on Amazon and purchase as well). What did not work was adapters to HDMI for TV. That is probably too high speed requirement for the adapter. But you could e happy as this adapter can not only help with audio, but also with some other peripherials.
