I had a pretty bad allergic reaction that made me stay in the hospital for a few hours and no one had the keys to my apartment to keep an eye on my dogs. Decided to get this just in case I had another incident of the sort. Ordered it from Amazon and it never arrived but I ended up getting it in person and it has been the best purchase I've ever made. The set up was easy, the lock functions well and it looks fancy. Only downside that it has is that it doesn't have battery included. However, I bought the rechargeable batteries and the battery last for almost 3 weeks. Im 27, live by myself, and I was able to install it without help.

I love this product and all eufy products. I bought this about 6 months ago, along with the eufy camera. Didn’t want a subscription so though this was a great alternative! Super easy to setup, step by step guide and videos. And linked with Amazon Alexa in a snap.The only thing isn’t I have to change the batteries maybe 1 a month and I feel like I barely use it besides manually locking it. Along with the fact I have no idea when batteries are dead or nearing the end. And than once I have new batteries, I have to re connect to WiFi and setup.l which sometimes relays the connection.I wanted a key pad incase needed people to have access to my house while I am not there, but since I can’t relay on it having battery life I have to just hand out keys.

ProsFunctionality wise, it works well, app is easy. Notifications are quick and reliable.ConsI had some issues, well outside of the return period. Customer service was very proactive and took care of me 100%. I believe I just got a defect, which can happen to anyone - how the company handles it is what is important. Would buy another Eufy product without hesitation

Deadbolt lock only. No handleThis is an exceptionally good purchase for a Eufy deadbolt smartlock. I have installed several of the higher tier Eufy smart locks with fingerprint detection and the steps for installing this lock are identical.I installed the lock on my backyard storage shed after losing the keys for the “traditional” deadbolt lock and wanted a solution that doesn’t tie me to having a physical key.The configuration is simple using the free Eufy app and managing users and notification is a cinch.

Great setup, durable and easy to use.Great lock that needs no “hub”. Connects to your home WiFi. May control or receive log remotely.This is a no brainer. The user interface and programming features allow for easy expansions (more users / access , more items)

Installation was very easy. Instructions are pretty simple and the video is easy to follow. I have had no issues with connectivity even for my lock in the garage. The app is really simple to use as well.I bought two of these locks. So far I’ve only had to replace the batteries once in a 2 month period in my most frequently used door. The less frequently used door I’ve had to replace the batteries once after about 3 months. Definitely recommend purchasing rechargeable batteries. They have stopped me from worrying about having batteries and the cost of them.
