Relief from constant throat clearing
I have been a sufferer of Silent Acid Reflux for nearly 20 years. I have suffered with hoarseness, laryngitis, and CHRONIC throat clearing that frustrated me as well as anyone in my presence. My throat constantly felt like I had a lump in it, and I was convinced I had throat cancer. No medications or procedures ever gave me complete relief. I have been taking PPI's along with Pepcid for decades. In 2010, I had the Nissen fundoplication procedure, which was supposed to 'fix' my issues. It didn't. The weird part is, I always had trouble accepting the acid reflux diagnosis simply because I NEVER had the burning reflux after eating the way normal sufferers experience with reflux. About 6 months ago, I went onto Cleveland Clinic's website. Great place for information, BTW. I read up on what they had to say about Silent Reflux. They did such a good job explaining. This is the explanation off of their website: Laryngopharyngeal reflux is a lesser-known form of acid reflux in which stomach acid travels ALL THE WAY INTO YOUR THROAT, causing symptoms there. LPR can be the underlying cause of hoarseness, laryngitis, chronic throat clearing and related symptoms. You might not have typical acid reflux symptoms, like heartburn or indigestion. "Laryngopharyngeal (“la-Ring-go-fa-Rin-jee-al”) reflux, or LPR, is a special type of acid reflux. Acid reflux occurs when stomach juices (including acid) rise from your stomach into your esophagus (swallowing tube). Symptoms of acid reflux usually affect your lower esophagus, within your chest. But if you have LPR, the reflux has a habit of creeping higher up, into your larynx (voice box) and pharynx (throat). LPR is also called “extraesophageal” reflux, because the reflux passes beyond your esophagus. This causes different symptoms from typical acid reflux — so different that you might not realize it’s a type of reflux at all. Instead of causing heartburn and indigestion, LPR tends to irritate your voice, throat and sinuses. Because you can have LPR without other reflux symptoms, it’s sometimes called “silent reflux.” It was also on their website that I learned about alginate therapy. Reflux Raft was my second trial choice of alginate therapy. I didn't have good results with another brand I had tried. Like other people have suggested, the taste and the texture leave something to be desired; however, after trying to find relief for almost 20 years, quite frankly I didn't care what it tasted like. I wanted relief. I wanted to be able to sit in a room quietly without clearing my throat every 15 seconds. I just wanted to feel normal again. I bought one bottle to give it a try. At first, the ginger and lemon seemed to irritate my already irritated throat, which I had anticipated. But knowing the healing properties associated with those ingredients, I decided I was going to power through one full bottle and see what happens. Gradually I started feeling relief. Little by little, my throat started to heal. Before I had finished the bottle, I had completely quit clearing my throat. My husband was elated. I was elated. I could cry from thankfulness having found something that has brought me this relief. I have used one bottle a week ever since. Having this suffering come to an end is such a blessing. I am deeply grateful. I hope others can benefit from this post.

The Berry taste is much easier to take.
I find that RefluxRaff helps with my acid reflux. It is easy to use but I prefer the Berry taste. I find it is expensive if you need to take if after every meal and bedtime which I need.

Berry works for me not lemon and ginger
This lemon and ginger one doesn't work for me at all, I cough and vomit same way but the Berry flavor is more effective for me, so o have to re subscribe the Berry. I give the Berry a 5 star but the lemon and ginger a one star. One next thing the raft reflux it's too pricey. Poor people cannot keep up... O m g🙏

Really Works
At first the taste is off putting, but it grew on me and this stuff really works. I would rather take this than PPIs.

Reflux raft
The taste was very subtle, but it ended up giving me heartburn right away. Do not intend on re-purchasing or continuing to use.

Effective and natural.
This is the only thing that helps my LPR reflux. Just fyi: you shouldn't take this if you are currently on an antacids (ppis, h2 blockers, etc.) The alginate requires stomach acid to work.
