It is not playable when you get it. It only comes with one drone reed. The bag does not hold air and constantly leaks. The chanter Reed is cheap. Not even worth it for a beginner bagpipe. The sound quality is terrible. it sounds like a dying goose muxed with shrieking cats

I've been looking for a set of this quality and in this price range for a learner for some time and was most happy to find these. They appear very nice, well made, and priced well. (We can't really tell how they sound until the "learner" actually learns how to play them! ;-) )

Only one reed provided. No instructions. I guess I will research this one on Youtube. If you sell something as complete it should be complete. Another disappointing but from Amazon.

These were a great deal and I got them for my husband. He said they were good overall ok but the sound was a little off due to the tuning of the reeds. Cannot tell if it's a quality of the reeds or drone. The practice chanter works great.

The reeds didn’t fit. Had to order new ones that were $100.Case was peeling and damaged.No assembly instructions

The best thing about these pipes is the looks the second I used the handle on the case if fell apart then put the pipes together and one of the tenner reeds will not make any sound (on ether set) and the chanter reeds are already blown out go to play them and the drones shut off before you have enough pressure to sound the reed and forget a clean strike in
