No ending.
As other reviewers report, the finale is nowhere to be seen. Just a note on the last page saying "Don't miss the epic finale in Sonic the Hedgehog 3, the Movie!"I would expect this from amateur writers who think ending a book on a 'cliffhanger' is the way to draw readers to your next one (IT'S NOT) but the novelization of a motion picture should not have this bait technique. I've seen the movie already so I know what happens, but it would be nice to have an actual full novelization of the story, too.Very disappointed.

Why no ending
I liked the story but why no ending scene its my favorite part!. If it had the ending scene it would have been perfect

Meh
While I loved the movie, and some of the extra details in this book, it was very badly written at times and downright impossible to read at others ... Sorry Sonic movie. I still love you.

Decent read for kids and fans, but doesn't contain the entire movie's events
The past two novelizations for the movies contained the entire story of their respective films, but for some reason this one cuts off before the final act, practically telling you to watch the movie for the rest on its final page. The book itself is fine to read, and will be easy to follow for younger readers (as it's very much meant for them). It mostly follows the exact same plot beats, with occasional alternate retellings of certain scenes, and some that ended up being deleted scenes. Like the movies themselves, there's little-to-nothing objectionable in terms of content (none of the mild swears from the movie are here). Some kids might be disappointed at a lack of pictures, but the writing stays engaging enough that nobody should get bored reading this.Again, the lack of an actual ending in the book is a major misstep, and anybody wanting to get this for themselves or their children would do best to see the movie first.
