Car Audio Dual 12" Vented Square Sub Box Enclosure fits Kicker L7 Subwoofer

this box is the perfect size for the 12 inch subs by hifonics brutus square series. they fit perfect. ok so the box is light i believe made out of particle board. the middle where the air excapes from is joined by both sides of the speaker box so their isnt a wall between sub holes. the box is very very light but sounds very good. i had another box that has heavy weight to it even by it self i believe better then this box material. i have this box and the 2 brutus subs hitting with a 1000w ssl amp from this site. yes they do hit hard and i have the volume low on the amp. no bass boost or any thing else turned up, have amp on full range so the spider cone inside the sub can flex faster to brake them in quicker. i suggest buying pure copper wire to make them hit hard. i seen some copper wire here that was 8 gauge primary wire which i cannot find again. but seems like that seller runs out fast. i think the part number was 8gap

Sooo!!! Here’s the update—- the box ports have collapsed and sent cracks down the port walls. I thought I’d blown a sub bit nope just the box falling apart. I’m seeking a refund

L5s fit just right. Just hadn't heard them play yet. I have a 3000 watt DB drive class D mono amp should be able to handle it I hope

Nicely built box for the price BUT, the cutouts for the speakers are WAY off. I spent what seemed like an eternity sawing the "holes" to the proper size. Good: Nice terminals, solid construction, carpet well adhered Bad: speakers dont fit. You will have to trim the holes.

Simply put, the box is cheaply made. My 2 L7’s blew the top off this box an now I have to spend money all over again for the same product. But definitely going with another company.

Nice box. The craftsmanship is perfect for my square speakers. They hit hard and crisp without any breaks in sound.
