This player was a hit for my three year olds birthday. He can use this easily which speaks to how simple it is as my child has no experience with technology. He loves the headphones and finds them comfortable! This made me happy as he doesn’t like hats and I wasn’t sure how headphones would go over. The sound quality is excellent! Just as good as our larger Yoto. The Yoto can do so much aside from just play the cards you purchase making it very functional. This smaller Yoto is durable and easy to transport making it great for very long road trips.

As a mom of three, I’m always looking for ways to cut screen time without cutting fun — and the Yoto Mini has been a total win. My 3- and 5-year-old boys use theirs daily, whether it’s for quiet time, car rides (with headphones, of course), or winding down before bed. It’s simple enough for them to use on their own, which I love. The option to record your own stories is such a sweet touch — we’ve used it to leave bedtime messages when one parent is out of town. And the free Yoto channels add great variety without me needing to constantly manage playlists. Bonus: the Yoto cards make perfect birthday gifts from grandparents — and feel like a “big kid” treat without adding clutter or screen time. Highly recommend for any parent wanting a screen-free entertainment option that kids actually love.

These wired headphones have saved my sanity!! My kids sure do love their Yoto players but when both want to listen to their own and they have on blast my brain can’t handle it. The headphones are lightweight and comfortable and easy store in their small bags. I also like that you can link more then one headphone to one Yoto so if one dies then they can both listen. I am not a fan of Bluetooth so I’m happy Yoto has a option like this, also means there’s not another thing to change 10/10 recommend

My almost 6 year old has a hard time shutting her brain off at night. This yoto has been great for bedtime. She listens to the nighttime stories or the breathing exercises before bed. The more exciting stories and music she loves during the day. The battery life is great. For some reason I can' t get the included headphones to work. Probably operator error though!

Our 5 yr old loves this. Headphones are decent quality as well. Also nice is the fact that there are many cartridges/stories to add to collection. There’s also a ver nice carry case.

Absolutely love the Yoto mini! Great size for travelling as well as daily use! Wish battery life is better. Would be great if it comes with a crossbody strap.
