This broom & dustpan combo came securely packaged. One has to screw pieces of the handle together. This is great because one can also disassemble & store it for transport. I liked it so well I decided to purchase 3. It is lightweight but durable. The plastic despite heavy use has not cracked, nor has the portions of the handle one screws together to assemble it unscrewed once screwed together. It has little plastic teeth in the dust pan that can be used to remove objects from the brush part of the broom. The handle is also tall which is helpful. I find many brooms too short. It has a soft firm brush which gets up most particles. I did prefer an older broom I had with finer softer particles for cleaning up fine dust but this one is more durable and good enough. The brush on this one has not bent or lost its shape. I think it is a good value for the money.

Very easy to assemble. Seems pretty sturdy. Dustpan does not stand by itself unless you lock the handle in the upright position. Then it requires some maneuvering to unlock it. (My old dustpan would simply stand up if I set it down and fold up again when I picked it up; very convenient.) This dustpan is not very heavy but the broom is. Even with only 2 extensions attached, it's still cumbersome to use with one hand and not very comfortable. The broom does, however, pick up a lot of dust/dirt that my old broom did not. The dustpan's rubber edge is flush to the floor and makes sweeping up very efficient. Update: after using it for the past several months and trying different combinations of extensions on the dustpan and the broom, as well as trying out different ways of using the broom, I now use the dustpan with 2 extensions and the broom with 3 extensions. I click the dustpan in place so it stands up on its own. I use the broom with 2 hands and sweep as with a regular broom. Then I get the dustpan from wherever I put it down and place it near where the dust/dirt is. I grab the broom handle about halfway down with fingers and thumb pointing downward and brace the top of the broom handle against the outside of my shoulder and upper arm. That way, I can use the dustpan with one hand and the broom with the other at the same time. I have found that this broom and dustpan are much better at picking up fine dirt and grit than my older handheld dust brush and dustpan do. I believe that the heavier broom and the denser arrangement of bristles make this set much more efficient with less effort and I can press the bristles down against the floor without stooping or squatting. I can also click and unclick the dustpan into position using my foot. It has loosened up a little with use and doesn't require as much effort as when it was brand new.

Product itself works as expected. Depending on how the user uses it, the dust pan will work fine. Some reviews I read before purchasing left me skeptical. If your wanting every micro grain swept up you need a vacuum, should go without saying. Mainly purchased for the dust pan and it picks up better than my last one which cost more and was for commercial use. The Broom is decent. Bristles are not as stiff as I like to use however it's good at getting the hair-dust like debris as well as light materials unlike my other broom which is much stiffer. It will be very handy for it's use. The store I had purchased it from through Amazon has great customer service and stand on their customer satisfaction guarantee 100%. My original order dust pan arrived with a crack in it. At the time I was a bit irritated from life's stress and on top of it needing to use the dust pan a week prior to actually ordering. So I had wrote a review that was shaming it's durability and how it couldn't survive the shipping. The seller quickly sent me another which was non defective. They offered (a email telling they we're) to refund me and to keep the product. I replied back declining the refund for the product works great and sh** happens. I liked the fact how the seller was willing to wipe it up just for my satisfaction. Thought that was awesome.

This broom and dust pan is so good that I bought 2, one for upstairs, and one for downstairs. The broom bristles are swift and flexible allowing reach in difficult places. The dustpan has a key factor - it stands upright on its own, whether it is in an open postion or whether the broom is tucked inside of it for storing. This allows it to have a very convenient, small storage footprint. This only minus is that the outer bristles get frayed from inserting the broom into the dustpan for storage, causing them to skewer instead of remain straight down. They can trimmed, but the same thing will happen again with the next layer of bristles. That said, it is still a great broom set. It sweeps well, reaches will and stores well!

My hair stylist suggested this broom set and it is wonderful. Okay, it is a broom and dustpan. No tools required to assemble, the height of the broom is what I was hoping for, the pan sits flat so gets all the debris, and I do not have to bend over to sweep into the dustpan. Used it to sweep wood flooring, fine kitty litter on linoleum, bits of paper on the living room rug (kitty likes to rip newspaper), and tiny bits of paper from crafting. Empties easily and folds to fit between the dryer and wall. The teeth clean the broom. I decided to store it with the broom facing up rather than in the bin to protect the bristles. I believe in getting a product that makes life easier and this fits that requirement.

The broom and dustpan was delivered in an undamaged carton. However when the dustpan was removed the lip was warped and you could not sweep debris into the pan. The plastic is cheap, flimsy and overall poor quality.

Impressed by reviews so bought this pricey brush set. It works well & is easy to store, but still a bit expensive.

I bought this broom because i read in article its soft for hardwood, but after receiving it i didn’t find it soft. It seems harsh for floor. Also i received it rusted. The handle has rust on it at several places. Feeling disappointed.
