Ideal replacement repair, saving £25 purchase for a new handle. All the other new springs were used to replace springs in other door handles purchased at the same time as the one which failed although they hadn't failed. If one old spring had failed there is a possibility that the other springs could be close to failing. Ensure you have a pair of circlip pliers, which might require the tips being modified to fit the holes in the cirlip. The new circlips were used instead of reusing the old ones. For some reason they are a better fit in the circlip groove even though they are the same thickness. Probably because they appear to be better quality than the original ones. Replacing all the springs allowed me to clean and lubricate the handles.

Bought these in conjunction with cams from the same seller. I only needed one but some spare will be handy when any springs break in future. Even buying 6 is cheaper than a new handle assembly. Fairly easy to fit but a suitable external circlip plier is essential for both safety and convenience. There are different size springs but these are correct for my internal door handles. A bit fiddly to fit and I initially thought the spring was too thick. However, a bit of perseverence and three hands paid off! What an excellent idea having parts available to repair rather than replace.

Take the door handle apart to check what type of springs you have before ordering as these are only for unspecified door handles (in the product information) and were not suitable for mine.

Arrived quickly repaired handle quickly once I worked out how much cheaper than replacement handles. Recommend buying circlip pliers to make fitting springs easier.

Springs work well but if you remove the circlip after fitting (to add spacers or adjust anything) then they fail fairly quickly and need replaced. Get it right first time and everything does exactly as it says on the tin. I would buy this product again.
