Fits great on my MacBook Pro. The installation was easy, and the matte transparent finish looks clean while still protecting the surface. It’s priced well for the quality, and it does a nice job preventing scratches without changing the look of the laptop. Would highly recommend if you want simple, effective protection.

I found these skin protectors to be very easy to install, about the same as an iPhone screen protector. I haven't ever used a laptop skin, but I decided to purchase these since my last Mac laptop had some scratches on the exterior after ~8 years of use, despite always keeping it in a case. I still use a case, but like that these offer surface protection even when in use, and are much thinner than a hard shell. Appearance wise: I can hardly tell a difference. I don't think you would even notice them unless you're looking for it. I decided not to put the protector on the mouse pad since it adds a bit more friction than the mousepad itself. Value for the money to protect what's probably the most expensive thing I own besides a car is great. I didn't have any issues or notice glare from my laptop before, but if that's something you struggle with, I can see how the matte skin would alleviate glare. Overall excellent quality and I recommend this item.

Apple doesn’t recommend a traditional screen protector for the new MacBook pros so I tried this as an alternative. I have used privacy screen protectors before, and this one altered the color of my screen too much for my liking, and also required me to turn up the screen brightness too much for my liking. Additionally, since the magnet is only at the top, you have to apply the adhesive tabs to the bottom of the screen, negating the whole point of the magnetic screen. The screen still gets dirty as well since it does not adhere to the screen all of the way around, trapping particles between the protector and the screen. Total waste of time and money.

The skins are almost transparent, with a very slight matte finish. They go on easy and fit the laptop features perfectly. I took my time aligning the skins and smoothing them out with the included tool. Any of the very minor lines or trapped air bubbles smoothed out easily and disappeared after a few hours. The slightly matte finish seems to give the laptop more of a non-slip grip and feels good in the hand. Based on initial use, these should really help keep the laptop scratch and smudge free.

Overall, I’m ok with this product. The cuts fit very well and lined up exactly as expected. It also came with easy-to-use applicators that made positioning and applying it simple, even without prior experience. The installation process was straightforward and didn’t take long. On the downside, the material quality is decent but not amazing. It’s not as crystal-clear as I imagined and you can definitely tell there’s a clear vinyl layer. There were also a few small air bubbles near the logo area, and the surface seems like it could scratch fairly easily if you’re not careful. That said, for the price it is not worth since ive tried other brands in similar range with better quality but for ease of application it has been the easiest one i have installed. it does what it’s supposed to by protecting your computer but dont expect it to look perfect.

I would recommend this transparent skin protector if you would like to protect your MacBook. precisely and installs easily without bubbles.

The skin looks pretty ok and it's relatively easy to apply although some sort of alignment tool or guide would have been useful. Does not look "cheap" like other ones I've tried. However, the quality is just ok. One of the edges on the top skin is not smooth (a little rough). You can see a small defect and can definitely feel it.

I always want to be mindful of objectivity and being realistic of products I use and review. At the end of the day, you usually get what you pay for. But overall, this is my take on it: LIKES: - Easy enough to apply - Comes with the materials needed to applicate. The soft-edge squeegee is a really good addition. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of that inclusion; way better than a credit card-esque equivalent. - Feels like it has enough texture and thickness to protect from moderate scrapes but maybe not deeper scratches - The cut is conforming enough that it won't be an everyday distraction. COULD BE IMPROVED: - Slightly clearer instructions. The little slip with which it comes seems to be a more general 'how-to' which extends to other products they may produce. - Not as consequential, but it'd be nice (in my opinion) if the Apple logo had a cutout. It looks a little tacky to see the adhesive forming a subtle air pocket around the logo. Again, really not a huge issue; it's just me. - The bottom sheet cutouts for the screws and rubber feet are ever-so-slightly off by roughly 0.5 mm. I got one side lined up really nicely, but the other side of screws and rubber feet were barely aligned. The screws are covered by an unnoticeable fraction, and I'll probably cover the bottom with a case regardless in this situation. Not sure if this falls in either category, but the adhesive is quite strong; yet, I'm not sure if--when the time comes to remove or replace the skin--how will it come off? Will the sticky-ness be an issue? I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there. What helps the most: Steady hands, as dust-free of an environment as possible, lots of lighting, and be gentle. Might need to pull the bottom sheet a little more when you apply if you're a stickler for lining up the holes of the screw openings and rubber feet.
