Standard Dog Car Seat

Absolutely brilliant quality and value. I cannot believe it was only £12:34 on offer. This upgraded style is fantastic, very sturdy and safe with a rigid frame to prevent my dog from swaying around. I’ve put her a nice comfy bed in it and she was so impressed she decided to have a nap in it. Took barely 10 minutes to put together too, very straightforward. Thank you 🙏

For £12.99 this is fantastic! I was a bit dubious as it was a cheap buy but it's perfect for what we need right now. Having adopted a little staffie runt from our local rescue we needed something to contain her safely when taking her home/ to the vets etc in the car. I bought this and it arrived the day we brought her home along with her soft cushion bed, she absolutely loves it. It's her little safe place from our other rescue who's a big 1 year old chunkster staffie. The instructions are a bit naff as someone else pointed out but to be fair it's really not difficult to work out how to assemble. There are sleeves to put the plastic pipes into and join it all up. The longer ones wont meet if in the wrong places. The zips at the sides make for easy access and quick assembly. It's really versatile and functional. It's lightweight for me to carry around when we swap rooms or into the car, yet sturdy enough to keep the pup contained safely. Fits like a dream in a meriva 5 door car, easy to attach the straps and secure in place, with the comfort of her bed in it and the motion of the car we dont hear a single peep from her. After using it for a short while in the house the only thing I would have liked is for the joint pieces to be metal as when the flaps are down the pup chews on it because its visible. She has chewed it so well that its not deformed on one side and the pipe can't go back in it now, this means its no longer safe for the car yet still perfectly adequate as a bed in the house until she is too big for it. It's not a huge issue overall as its been perfect for the price paid. We're happy pup parents with our purchase.

Overall a good basic booster seat and happy for the price I paid. Pros: Pretty solid build and structure so holds shape well and seems secure. Good options for seat attachments, and doubled up with the seatbelt threaded around the front, it feels very sturdy. Like that it has its own integrated clip and strap to secure a dog. Very easy to put together and set up. Decent fabric doesn't seem to get too dirty or tear easily. Has been in use with a young puppy for car journeys and so far no visible wear or tear. For less than £15 this has been excellent for the security of a young puppy in his first car trips, knowing he would grow out of it before too long. Cons: It does not come with any padding. I made a cushion to fit into the bottom for my puppy to rest on, otherwise there is just a fabric base. Not all of the attachment points seem to work if the booster is fitted into the front passenger seat - two are designed to thread between the seat and back (regardless, its still very snugly fitted when the seatbelt is used). There are zips at the corners, but likely just for ease of assembly, as you cannot lower one of the mesh side panels due to it being attached to the pole framework. Additional to this, it is not foldable; once set up it holds its shape unless actually disassembled. I very much like the integrated strap and clip to secure a dog, but due to being fixed at the height of the sides, it has not prevented my puppy being able to climb up and try to get out. Anchoring it at the base would perhaps have given a dog less latitude for escaping (though there is then the argument it is more of a hazard for legs being tangled, so a situation with no right answer, perhaps). All in all, happy that it has done the job needed, and still will for a bit longer, while I look for a long term option once my dog has grown out of it. Just perhaps bear in mind getting your own cushion or blankets for padding.

Brilliant. Keeps the vomit contained to a more manageable area. I’ve got 2 a smallish one for the little dog who thankfully has stopped having a protest poo 10 mins in to the journey. And a big one for the world class vomiter that we own. Easy to fit. Easy to clean. Also means I can actually put people in the back sometimes as it s now clean and tidy.

Easy to put together and install. Perfect for our small dog. The rear seat on my car splits 70/30 and it even fits on the 70% seat which means I can see what the dog is up to while driving. The straps took a bit of adjusting but now they are at the correct length, it's easy to take out and reinstall if we need to carry passengers.

The product itself I'd good and its sturdy however the strap that you clip your dog in with is rubbish, it's the thinnest material and puppy CHEWED through jt within 4 mins of setting off ! So she wasn't strapped in for the rest of the journey which was far from ideal !

Best car seat I've ever bought better than home bargains and the price is cheaper very deep and secure for a puppy no issues quality is on point very happy

Sits perfect in our car, my dog is a lil chihuahua so I needed to put a pillow in also so she can see everyone still, value for money!!! It was spotless clean the zippers are very small but strong it fits perfectly with the seat belts and my dog was so comfortable she had a nice sleep Easy to assemble
