Excellent
Firstly let me start by saying there are many similar Wireless Digital Transmitter/Receiver Systems out there and no doubt they all do the same thing. After reading many reviews on different systems I decided to try out this particular system.. Early days yet and will adjust this review accordingly but for the moment I am very pleased with this system. Before purchase I knew that this system and other systems like it are made of plastic, any moving parts over time you know are going to fail at some point. In a studio environment and handled with care I trust that this system will last for a very long time. My reasons for purchasing was that I play at two different locations so is impossible to take the gear from the studio transport it safely so I have more or less the same set up at two different locations. One location I was using cables at the other studio I was using the Line 6 G75 wireless set up which is impressive. The line 6 G75 system the transmitter is solid and made of metal however when I purchased it was very expensive and hasn't come down in price that much that I would purchase another one. That unit uses AA batteries 2x.. I have read some complaints how it eats battery power, well, Its not too bad and you get around 7 hours playing time, excellent for stage and studio and you can purchase extra transmitters for other musicians in the band. I did try Duracell re-chargeable batteries but its either the charger not any good or the batteries are duff as they don't last more than an hour. What I like about the Xvive U2, the price was reasonable, and are USB charged, you can get these in different colour's I chose the red one because it blends nicely with a red Strat and fits perfectly, its not in the way of the trem bar either. Care must be taken when fitting it to the guitar or making sure that its either removed or safe when the guitar goes into its locking guitar stand. I cannot give any review as yet how this would perform on stage because currently with Covid restrictions there are no gigs to be had, I tested this system transmitter/receiver it worked straight out the box even though they needed charging there was enough juice that allowed me to play for around 3 hours! I could have played longer if I wanted. All I can say on the kit I received absolutely no noise, no latency and they do look stunning, there was no manual pairing both units switched on and paired immediately. Even the box they arrive in looks stunning, if ever transported they are safe in the box and protected by lots of sponge perfectly cut stunning visually. The charging side they quickly charge on a double ended micro USB so transmitter/receiver charge at same time. No batteries to worry about so in a gigging environment in between sets just pop them on charge and away you go.( I haven't tested them in a gigging environment) One word of caution (And a small FREE tip) With any Mini Micro USB connection should you be in an area where the lighting is poor or your eyesight is not 100% or cannot feel the USB logo on the plug to identify correct connection to the unit I would mark plug and unit with a small dab of nail varnish that way you won't run the risk of damaging any unit that has a mini micro connection. The times I have seen others who have damaged sockets forcing USB leads in the wrong way. USB Logo on plug always faces upwards or towards you. I cannot vouch for what the unit is like in a gigging environment but am sure many will try this, so for bedroom players, small studio environments its an absolute gem. To the designer and manufacturer of this unit this is an impressive system and love it very much indeed. Update so far tested on live gig and so far have worked perfectly a charge seems to last well over 4 hours more than enough time . You must be always mindful that these units are constructed of plastic so care has to be taken when they are in use or out of the box. They are immediately returned to the box after charging or once any playing is completed.

Better than expected
I had this in and out of my basket for some weeks, unsure of whether to take a chance on an unknown brand. In the end, I went for it, and I'm glad I did; the tonal quality is superb, no lagging, and it does what I need automatically. Great piece of kit for a lot less than I would pay for a 'big brand' unit that actually wouldn't work with an active pickup - this one works with both my passive K+K pure mini and active LR Baggs Element VTC

Good quality, good value
Very nice product. I had a cheap wireless system that had started to suffer from significant hiss and vibrations when playing. So I decided to upgrade to a sturdier product. I just play guitar at home, no gigs, so didn't want to spend a lot of money. I bought the Xvive XA58 and an very pleased. The product feels sturdy, it's very simple to use and to get started, and the guitar sounds great through it. Highly recommended.

Works with passive AND active pickups
Some other reviewers have noted that this device doesn't work with their active pickups. The product packaging (but NOT the Amazon listing, tut tut) makes it clear that this MIGHT be a problem: "The U2 is suited for all electric string instruments with passive pickups. Performance with active pickups will vary depending on the type of pickup". My experience on that, for what it's worth, is positive. I've tried it with these active pickups: - Fishman Rare Earth soundhole humbucker (button battery) - Mimesis soundhole single coil (button) - B-Band A3T undersaddle (9v) factory-fitted in a Tanglewood acoustic guitar - Unknown brand 'ASE-N' (9v) factory-fitted in an Ozark tenor guitar - Fishman lsysT (?) (9v) factory-fitted in a Martin LX1E - Myers 'Feather' (button battery) and 'Clamp' (basically the same thing with two different mounts) It worked first time, every time, with all of them. The Myers ones were interesting because although Myers calls them 'pickups', they're actually little condenser microphones. This puts them outside the intended use, but they were just fine. I've also tried it with a slew of passive pickups including Seymour Duncan (humbucker) and K&K Twin (piezo discs, in a mandolin). You'd expect it to work well with them because it was designed for them. It did. It was specially nice on the Yamaha electric violin YEV-5 (passive), where cable drag can be a problem for the player. As far as I can tell, the sound quality is the same as with a cable. Of course, to test that, you've got to listen one way, then swap connectors and listen again. I don't know about you, but my ears have short memories. For what it's worth, it sounded the same to me. I'm reasonably fussy, your Coefficient of Fuss may vary. In the same way, volume level is the same as a cable. Same caveats apply. I tried it from two rooms away, say about twelve metres, through two concrete walls and a steel radiator. It worked. I tried it in the same room as my WiFi router. It worked. I've given it four rather than five stars because it seems a bit expensive for what it is - a cable replacement. I haven't gigged it yet. If it performs reliably at gigs where there are lots of magnetic fields and radio signals flying about, I'll put it up to six stars (© Nigel Tufnel) because then it will be worth its weight in gold. It weighs 41gms per unit, by the way. At today's UK gold price that would make the pair worth £113.57, so it's a pretty good gauge for once.

Excellent wireless system.
I had to abandon using a cheaper type of wireless system for my guitar as even with changing frequencies another band member's wireless system kept interfering and cutting it out. This Xvive XA58 system has eliminated that issue. I have used this system at all gigs since then and I am extremely impressed with their performance. In the small venues in which we play there is no latency issue and I am not aware of any difference in sound quality from using a cable. Battery life is more than adequate for my purposes. In short, this is an excellent wireless system and I can thoroughly recommend it.

I can't fault it
I used this wireless system at a gig last night. It worked perfectly. It never missed a beat. The setup of the system couldn't be easier; switch the receiver and the transmitter on, in a few seconds they agree on a channel. Plug the receiver into the amp, the transmitter into the guitar and away you go. I moved a fair distance from the amp within the pub and the system responded perfectly. I have had wireless systems before and was always disappointed with the fact that I had to use a belt clip, cable from the clip to the guitar, batteries, cable from the receiver to the amp, mains connection to the receiver etc, etc. There is no faffing about with this system. Simply plug and play Absolutely perfect!! **UPDATE** After 2 years and 3 months of using the Xvive U2 (100 - 150 gigs per year) the receiver battery has started to deteroirate. The charge is now being held for less than 4 hours and charging takes a little longer. This is easily remedied by recharging mid-set. I guess this is always going to be a problem with anything that has the batteries built in. However, don't let this put you off buying this system. The performance is still as good now as when I bought it.

Faultless operation, great sound, good battery life.. and freedom from cables!
These things are a complete revelation. I use them on my semi-acoustic violin combined with a Roland Cube amp, and the rest of my band are sooooo jealous. I charge them up via USB every few practises, but other than that I am FREE from cables! It's so wonderful to be not tripping yourself or everyone up, and as we perform outside a lot and have to move between performance spots, it's a total revelation to not have trailing cables. Also I can move further from the band and do our own soundcheck while playing. I can't notice any difference sound-wise between using my lead and using these things, but we don't have a super hi-fi sound so that's not really a problem. Anyway, totally brilliant, well made, work well, and they came in a beautiful box which is a reassuring sign from the manufacturer. For the price they are a complete no-brainer, knowing what my band spend on their instruments. This combined with a £120 5-string semi-acoustic chinese eBay violin.. amazing. Don't hesitate.. just do it!

This is the set to buy!
I had previously purchased 2 other guitar wireless from Amazon and after trying them out at practice returned them. Each time I bought one I spent a little more money thinking I would get a better product. This time that theory worked out while spending 3 times the money on these wireless from the first ones I bought These work great and are not going back. Very happy with purchase and I would recommend them to Guitarist. Great product!
