I installed the new cartridge and the printer reported an error. Removed the cartridge and reinstalled. This time, no error. But, the printer did not recognize it as a new cartridge, so it is still reporting as empty. I was able to print with it, though. Not a perfect replacement for a original Xerox cartridge. I am crossing my fingers that it will continue to work even though it reports as empty.
