Good as New after 4 years of use
I purchased this Pot in December 2012. It has been through 3 house moves, 2 overseas moves .... and it is in good shape! I steam food about 2-3 times a week = 500 times of use to date. Still PERFECT! Used it on gas stoves, electric stoves, BBQ grills - no problem. A few Reviewers have commented on size and weight. I bought this as I wanted to steam "whole" fish (30-33 inches) or make steam buns in a 6-cup muffin tin so this size is perfect. But it does take up considerable storage space and a big sink space to wash it. Best to dry immediately so that water marks will not form on it's shiny surface. In USA, if you do not wash and dry it immediately after each use, you will find calcium stains on the base of pot which can be easily removed with baking soda and vinegar. The plastic steam vent is very rudimentary - it opens to let out steam and closes to retain steam. I usually open it before cooking so that I will know when the water boils and will close it during the cooking process. There is kind of a metal disc about the size of a big button under the steam value inside the lid - which has popped out twice (during washing). It is not secured by anything. I just need to pop it right back - no biggie. So happy it has lasted so long and in such good shape. Almost as good as new. No dings, No dents, No discolorations.

Versatile and Big - Very Useful
Great size for my huge gas cooktop. I often make large batches of food for friends and this really comes in handy for that. I can put about 4 regular chickens cut up in here and go waterless or otherwise. Also the steamer basket is great for us since weekly I steam a variety of veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, pea pods etc) and then store the in the frig for quick snacks and additions to salad. Using a little timing ingenuity, I can do all "at once" by staring with the one that needs the most (carrots) and adding others appropriately until the one that needs the least cooking, pea pods..........then dump all out on a couple of cookie sheets to cool. The handles are great. Note there is a steam lock on top so you can steam or let steam escape. Quite versatile and a go-to item for many uses in my kitchen.

Skillet is great quality however very large
I did not realize how large it is. It is not practical for my stove and also not practical to store such a large skillet.

Great Steamer Pot
I had been looking for a steamer to replace my old worn out dutch oven steamer that had seen a lot of years of use. We have a large garden every year, and I prefer to blanch my veggies for the freezer with steam instead of dropping them in boiling water. I freeze about 100 pints of green beans per season plus lots of other veggies as well. I could not find a new one that was any where near the diameter of my old one and had a decent sized steam basket. This year I used the Precise Heat Stainless-steel Oversized Skillet. It didn't take long to get the feel of this new one. It also held full sized ears of corn very well. I was surprised when the pot arrived to find that the lid handle had a steam adjustment lever on it as I did not remember that being in the description. You have to be careful to have that thing closed and to always use a hot pad on the handle just in case it would slid open. If it did and you had no hot pad you would have terrible steam burns on your hand. I have also noticed that the inside bottom of the pot now has a bluish cast. I have always had plenty of water in the bottom, so I know it was not from that. It may be a reaction to my water or the high temps from boiling water. I have never had that with any of my other stainless steel pots, but it is just cosmetic and does not affect performance. All in all I am very pleased with this oversized "skillet".

Great quality
I love how they are made and the quality. I completely was not prepared for the size of the pots. It was in the description, but you can't visualize it until you see it. If you are feeding a crowd, this pot is a great value. If you only have a couple of people in your family, it may be too large, but I could not ding them on the report for that.

Awesome!!!
I purchased this oversized skillet to replace a non-stick oversized skillet that I had that was starting to show signs of wear. First of all, let me say that findnig an oversized skillet is a task in itself. I was using a 12" deep skillet and was happy with it but I got rid of it due to the non-stick surface coming off in my food. For some reason, I thought I had been using a 14" skillet all this time. I was really suprised to see how big this 14" skillet is....it's huge! I had to get out my measuring tape to measure my old pan, cause I just couldn't believe it. It's larger than my largest burner but seems to distribute the heat very well and it sits nice and flat on my smooth top with no movement when using it. So, this is what a solid pan is like? Awesome! I do season the pan before using it (old habits of the few stainless steel pieces I have die hard) so I cannot attest to this pot being really non-stick without the worries of teflon but letting it warm up and adding some olive oil works wonders and I'm afraid to try it without the oil! I would purchase this skillet again in a heartbeat and now have a new go to present for weddings. I tend to cook a lot of one pot meals and it is so very nice to be able to follow cooking instructions to a T (ie move the chicken to one side of the pan.....yes! I can actually do that now and I don't have to dirty any other pots or dishes in the process!). I am very happy with this pan. It just makes my 9" deep kitchen sink seem so small and if I ever need to soak it for some reason (which I haven't had yet) I'll just do so on the stove.

Not for glass top ranges
I bought this expecting a high quality product but the bottom is not flat and it does not work well on my glass top range. I would not buy this again. Only way I can use it is to go outside and cook on my gas grill's side burner. Bummer.
