Serves its purpose . . .
Slices loaf bread nicely. I had to go over the bottom section of the bread a few times to make sure it cut through that area though. My boules that are round & wide are a bit trickier to slice. They are too wide to fit in between the widest setting. I did find I can just use one side panel and leave the other side open and hold tight to the bread which allows me to have equal slice width.

Make uniform slices of bread
Homemade bread is soft and hard to hold to evenly slice. This Bread Slicing Guide work great to get those evenly sliced and uniform slices of bread for sandwiches and toast. I like the way it is adjustable for different loaf sized and the way it disassembles and stores flat. The red/white checkered placemat is a nice touch too.
