The 12AWG size looks good. These loops measure around 10 inches of wire, as advertised. I haven't cut one yet. Who knows, could be clad. The cut ends of pure copper will have the copper color. Aluminum clad has a definite silvery color. Otherwise it's really hard for me to tell the difference. The AL clad stuff is easy to work with and less costly..I did some power mods on an e-scooter that I'm not so sure about. It has a circuit breaker, but I wanted to install an inline fuse as a backup and these guys are perfect. Rubbery caps are pretty tight... The included 30 amp fuses are green, but a different shade from other 30As I have. I do believe there's a code, "green" color means 30 amp, "red" means 10 amp, and so forth. Asking price for two 12AWG was $5.39.

You get two inline blade fuse holders with attached 12 AWG wire leads. In addition you get two 30 amp blade fuses which you can replace with smaller amp fuses if needed. The fuse holders are also waterproof. These are commonly used in 12 volt vehicle systems. Mine are being used in a Cordless tool Battery powered Bluetooth speaker box project. Easy to use and works.

I really like these holders- They used ATC/ATO fuses which are easier to see and grip. The waterproof cap was perfect for the marine charging application I intended it for. The 30 amp fuses included were appreciatedTook off two stars because the wire loops were of significantly different lengths- by a lot. One product fit entirely in the circumference of the other. Wire advertised as 9.8 inches long 12 ga wire. Neither one measured that long. My order- the longest was 8 inches and the smaller one measured a measly 6 inches (means 3 inches legs after cut) -- quality control obviously needs some help with this product Cheating on the connecting wire is a big NO-NO guys.

A relay kit I ordered came with a very bad fuse holder, the fuse could just slide out! I could have gone in a pinched it down tighter, but I figured that was a sign of the quality and wanted something better and more water resistant.This setup did not let me down. Fuse slides in firmly. Cap seals down pretty well. Wire feels nice and flexible. Swapping this over to my relay harness was simple, and integrating this into any other project will be just as easy. Great value!

I got this product for free, the following is my honest and unbiased review.I like these ATC/ATO inline fuse holders. They are manufactured with a wire loop so you can place your splice where you want it. The larger ATC/ATO fuses are easy to insert and remove with just your fingers (unlike mini fuses) and the tethered weather cap fits nicely. Also the price is very reasonable for two holders. Nicely done!

Added these in line when I added additional lights to my side by side. They are quality built with tight fitting seals to keep out moisture. It even came with two 30 amp fuses. All you need to protect your investment.

I needed a fuse holder for an automatic bilge pump I added to my boat. These are of good quality - definitely heavier duty than most. I don't think you can go wrong with these.
