I bought this adapter after a few reviews of adapters online suggesting this is the best one I could get.The reasons for being you dont have to tape the card or glue it in place, its just held firmly in place with mechanical retention, And I was going to be using this device in a nokia n8 which uses a spring loaded sim mechanism. And also a phone notorious for sim adapter issues. A few reviews online of sim adapters in the nokia N8 suggested this product so I thought it a wise purchase.The adapter arrived very quick so no complaints there.It is built very solid and feels very strong. but thats where it ends.To put it short my nano sim card just didnt fit. at all. I can get one end in, but trying to click the other side in place and make it sit is nearly impossible, and to make it worse when you finally get it in the adapter it didnt sit flush. there was just a hair of the nano sim raised off the surface, just enough to make it not fit into the N8's sim slot. I was using a real AT&T nano sim, not some hand cut one. and finally. my sim was not recognized by any phone i put it in afterwards, so I had to get a new sim, thankfully AT&T replaced mine for free.Basically. I just got a cheap dollar adapter that uses tape and put it into the phone to use it, and now I have this adapter laying around. Maybe it was just my particular nano sim so your results could very from mine.

This adaptor works the best. I've tried a bunch and this one not only has a better fit, but it also has some small tabs on the corners so that the nano sim can't come out the top. This is very important in some phones since if the sim comes out the top you can damage the pins while pulling out the sim and adaptor. My only complaint was when talking to the manufacturer and asking very pointed questions about whether or not these tabs existed the were not able to tell me. It seems to me that they would make a huge deal about these because it's what distinguishes them from the rest.

it may have just been the one i received, but my sim card wouldn't sit flush as the adapter was warped. I heard this was the best adapter to get and it was garbage, it ruined my phone. granted it was only my back up phone, a 15$ flip phone, but still. rather disappointing. Could've been just a fluke, but I'd be cautious about using one of these.
