I was preparing to add nine panels to my array along with two new inverts, a lot of wiring. The last one I bought a piece of...wasn't acceptable. I decided to spend a little extra and get a known brand name. I'm glad I did, it worked fine for some 12awg, 10, and 8awg. A lot quicker than using my pocket knife, probably safer. I used it on solid, and straned, wire with no issues.

It works great for my 6 AWG ground wiring that I constantly make in the panel shop. The depth gauge is nice, but it’s plastic it’s not going to last.
