I drink a protein shake every single morning mixed in my coffee. I’ve done this for many years. It’s my breakfast. I’ve been through many different brands of protein shakes. Some are just plain awful. Gritty or chalky, I had to hold my breath and chug them just to get that added protein. The protein I currently use is smooth, no grit, no chalky taste and it’s a pleasure to drink. So I was happy to give this protein a try. You can mix this protein with milk, nut milks, or as I do… mix with coffee. I had a little cool coffee so I mixed the packet of protein powder into the cool coffee until smooth. Then I poured in my hot coffee, stirring as I poured it in. The powder mixed smoothly and no lumps. I gave it a taste and was pleasantly surprised. It has a nice chocolaty flavor in my coffee. I didn’t taste any grit or chalky flavor. Each drink has 15 grams of protein and 160 calories. It also contains additional vitamins. So, I’d say this is a good tasting protein. The reason it wouldn’t be my everyday protein is the cost. This box of packets makes 15 protein drinks. The current cost of $47.00 makes it $3.13 per drink. It’s also high in potassium and due to kidney disease, I need to limit my potassium.

In fact, it's as close to a "clinical" looking packet as you'll find on the market. Don't let that fool you though...this stuff is actually VERY tasty and incredibly versatile. We've used it with various liquids (all kinds of milk) as well as sprinkled on top of ice cream or used in baking (as they show in their listing). Don't let the simple packaging fool you, this stuff is very good! Very happy with this powder!
