The Wife
She loves her new spotting scope. She is an avid archer and enjoys shooting 50-meter targets. The clarity and build quality are great for the price point. We also mounted it on a Vortex tripod. My wife loves her Crossfire spotting scope.

amazing for the price
This is a great spotting scope for the price. I also have a vortex diamondback HD 16-48x56 spotting scope and when I look at animals at a mile or further away I feel like the crossfire hd has more definition to it making it easier to identify than the diamondback hd. I keep this crossfire in my pack for when I hike any distance, it is so light and easy to setup and use. I highly recommend it. The only thing bad about this it early morning low light you cant make out anything, but in my experience that is ok as the animals aren't going anywhere for awhile anyways and you will see everything just fine in a few more minutes. Plus I use my razor hd binos most the time and just use the spotter when it is far enough away I need extra to identify what it is.

Lightweight with ok optics
I had never used a scope before buying this one. I wanted something with more reach than my binoculars when birdwatching but didn't want to spend a lot of money in case I didn't like using a scope. This scope feels well made and is nice and light to carry around. Optics are ok, but I wish I'd bought a better quality one.

Small and sturdy
As competitive archers, we've been looking for a "travel" spotting scope that was smaller, and lighter, than our full-size scopes. We had tried the Roxant Blackbird, which was agreeably small and packed well; it also is delicate and breaks easily (the eyepiece falls off). Finding the Vortex Crossfire 12-36 x 50 was the answer to our problem. Small enough to pack easily, and very, very durable. The Crossfire exudes quality, too, and the lifetime warranty is amazing for a $200 scope. Having the built-in Arca plate is perfect! After the whole 2024 season of travel to 8 tournaments, the Vortex is in perfect shape. Optically, it's not as good as our full-sized Nikon Prostaff scopes, but darn close - easily performs at 90% of sharpness and chromatic aberration as the Prostaff. Eye relief is quite good when wearing sunglasses, and it's easy to score X10's at 70 meters. Really happy with the Crossfire, we bought two.
