I purchased a laptop because I do a lot of traveling and did not want to take my expensive gaming laptop with me in case anything happens to it.This is a cheap entry laptop, which certainly cuts corners to meet the low price, but also amazes at the same time in the right areas.Firstly to the amazing parts. The screen quality is excellent and really surprising. Images are crisp, text is perfectly readable and colors great. This was a real surprise and actually I don't notice a massive difference between this and my higher end laptop.Secondly, the battery life on this laptop is so good. I was very worried because it didn't have the usual looking removable battery, but actually I'm getting hour upon hour of use out of this.These two elements combine make it perfect for my travel uses on the train and surfing the web.To highlight some areas that are not as premium as much more expensive laptops, the chassis is built from a flexible plastic however a benefit of this is it is very lightweight.Also the mouse tracking pad is not quite as responsive when it is plugged in. It's fine when it's not plugged in but overall I would recommend using a mouse, which actually came packaged with this when I bought it. Also the keys are a little bit light compared to my more expensive laptop, but this laptop is over £1000 pounds less, so I did expect this.The speakers are probably one of the weaker points, and given how thin and portable this laptop is, it doesn't come as much surprise. How are the plug-in a pair of headphones and it's all good.I also did some download speed tests, and I was able to get 50 megabyte downloads with the installed Wi-Fi card on my 5G network. This plenty fast for anything.Also the hard drive space was excellent and transfer speeds to that seemed very quick.It's worth noting that the device comes with two USB ports so if you're looking for attaching more than two devices, you may need a USB adapter.Finally, I do recommend installing all Windows updates when you get this laptop. I noticed the performance was greatly improved after spending 30 minutes doing all the latest Windows updates.Overall this is a perfect laptop for travel. It is probably the lightest laptop I have ever used and easily fits into my rucksack. The battery life is phenomenal and the screen quality is excellent. If these two things matter to you and you're looking for a pickup and go laptop to a company you on journeys, this one might fit the bill.

We bought this for our teenage son to do his homework on and for my partner to do works teams calls on.We have had it around a month now and we can't pick any fault at all,it's exactly as we expected and hoped it would be,ie a low priced,easy to use laptop that does as expected.At 14" it's a great size, small enough to sit on our boys desk with all the other gadgets he has on there but big enough to have a good sized screen that's easy to view.Talking about the screen,it's big and bright and the colours are true. It's is a used for school work in the evenings then often he uses it to watch movies.The keyboard responses well and is suitable for us who type quickly.Memory is decent enough and it's is comforting to know this is is expandable. Making it future proof.It has turned out to be a good buy.

This 14-inch study companion has been an absolute marvel in helping me manage my spreadsheets while providing just enough pixel-power to indulge in nature documentaries during flights.This agile laptop fits comfortably in my rucksack when I venture into the highlands. Despite its feather-light weight, it delivers with a remarkable battery life that is well-suited for lengthy journeys.I really like that you can upgrade the memory unlike my Mac which helps make it a little more future proof. It's not all perfect though as the US keyboard caught me off guard, but thankfully, it comes with replacement UK keys markers so it wasn't too difficult to switch to my UK layout and adjust regional settings. Also comes with a screen protector which is useful.Meeting notes and conference calls are as seamless as cycling down Bennachie, with the included wireless mouse making navigation effortless.A bit disappointing is the lack of power for really demanding tasks, but for my daily needs, it does a solid job.
