Best Motherboard on the market.
5/5 Rating Phenomenal BOARD!!! I'm currently working on a new build. I'm coming from an Asus Z390 and this is a complete upgrade in every way. This motherboard has every bell and whistle you can envision. But you must be very careful when installing. You do not want to hook up components in the wrong way or it will have the capability to fry your motherboard. This motherboard is EVERYTHING you envision and more. Top of the line, you will not need to upgrade for some time.

If you know what you are doing, you should end up with a system that isn't only fast but evey thing you click on is immediate. While the"You get what you pay for" saying may not always be true it certainly is when it comes to the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z890 Extreme Motherboard. This motherboard is simply amazing in every way. After opening the Amazon packaging, I thought the motherboard seemed extremely heavy. And it is. ASUS went above and beyond with even how they packaged the board. You're given everything you need and many miscellaneous items. From ARGB splitter cables, thermal pads, ROG USB drive that contains drivers and utilities, to even a bottle opener. The ROG Maximus Z890 Extreme is a motherboard designed for gamers looking for the ultimate in performance and features. Built on the Intel Z890 chipset, it supports the latest Intel processors, delivering top-notch speed. Connectivity is top-tier, with multiple PCIe slots, USB 4.0 ports, and Wi-Fi 6E for fast, reliable networking. I did not need to perform a BIOS update out of the box like others claim but, overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and it's an excellent choice for those seeking a high-end, feature-rich motherboard that will last for many years to come.

Two brand new $911.00 motherboard's in a row. Both showed up dead on arrival. Neither worked. Lousy yet unreliable. Quality? How Long is a china men?

The mother of all motherboards
This has is the best motherboard ASUS had made to date, I know the price speaks for itself. The saying you get what you pay for is true. The features this board offers are second to none. I have been an ASUS brand user for years both Intel and AMD boards. This being one of the first boards that I have used with little tweaking needed to squeeze out the best performance settings from RAM, CPU, GPU and NVME storage capabilities. Yes, there is sharing of the PCI lanes when using multiple NVME slots but has no impact in the GPU performance. I would highly recommend this board if you can get past the price tag. 10/10.

Memory error and blue screen in windows with 128 ram
The motherboard works perfectly with 64 megabytes of RAM, but when I added 128 megabytes of RAM, Windows gave me a memory error and lots of blue screens. After three months of testing and looking for someone who had this problem, I found some people complaining. You can set 64 megabytes of RAM on the motherboard to 6400 Hz, but if you add 128 megabytes of RAM, you have to lower the memory frequency to avoid errors. In my case, I lowered it to 6000 Hz. Manufacturing defect!!!

This was a fun build, and it turned out better than any pre-build pc you can get in general. If you want high end quality and capability, this is the board for you.

Motherboard realmente "extreme" para la plataforma Arrow Lake
Siempre ensamblo mis PCs usando motherboards buque insignia de ROG, porque si bien existen muchas con las mismas prestaciones, me gustan los productos de esta marca, ya que están extensivamente equipadas para realizar overclock y funcionan de maravilla. En cuanto a esta tarjeta madre en particular, hay que "tweakear" mucho en el UEFI para sacarle partido a todos los componentes, principalmente al CPU, dado que sí requiere ajustes de relojes y voltajes para dejar la PC al gusto. Mis componentes principales son: Placa: Maximus Z890 Extreme (este producto) CPU: Core Ultra 9 285K (el indicado para esta placa) RAM: Corsair Vengeance CUDIMM @ 8400 MT/s SSD principal: Intel D7-P5510 grado empresarial PCIe 4.0 de 3.84TB, interfaz U.2 con adaptador M.2 original de Intel SSD secundario: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB Tarjeta gráfica: Strix RTX 4090 Fuente de poder: ROG-THOR-1600T-GAMING Cooler: CORSAIR iCUE H170i ELITE CAPELLIX, 420mm

Magnífica compra sin duda.
Es una pieza increíble de equipo, instalar y conectar todo es muy sencillo, y el diagrama de que es cada cosa es genial, pero si no tienes buena vista te recomiendo una buena lupa. el USB que trae es un instalador de drivers que crea una imagen de dvd en el sistema para facilitar una excelente instalación. Ni se te ocurra usarlo para otra cosa
