Bamboo Sunglasses - 100% Polarized Wood Shades for Men & Women from the"50/50" Collection

I just recieved my sunglasses yesterday, had them sent to my ship as i am in the navy and the projected delivery date was august 5th. I was expecting that since it always takes a bit longer to receive mail on a military base. I got them on july 27th!!!! I just got laser eye surgery and bought these to protect my eyes from the sun and compared to the ones i was given by the optometrist these are a life saver. The only thing i have to complain about is the edge of the plastic frame was a bit scuffed up on the left hand side as you can see in the picture, i had to take away 1 star sorry. Other than that great job 4est i deffinitely love these and will be recommending to a friend.*******update*******After emailing 4est about the scuff and about possible future products, they decided to reimburse me for the pair that i received. I am shocked by the professionalism of the company and their customer service is simply amazing. I am a customer for life and i know where to turn to for quick gifts.

I have bought two pairs and they performed the same way. I feel I have some experience. The very best part is the tube the sunglasses come in! Very nice storage, I keep it in my door jam in my car. For the size the sunglasses do sit light on the face. They do shield from the sun well. The sunglasses do look like plastic but are a conversation piece, kind of like a woody car. They are a bit bulky overall. The stems have hardware which does not hold up. Each of my pairs broke at the hardware at the 7th month under normal use of folding the stem. The tension clip breaks. Not sure how to describe the break, but both broke off in the same way under normal use. I did not ask for a replacement of my first pair, I was busy on vacation. I willingly brought the 2nd pair at full price. Therefore, I felt it was fair to seek a replacement on the 2nd pair. My second pair broke off right in my hand. I will see how it goes. I reported the failure and they have not been sent.

Need great sunglasses? Booyah! You came to the right company. I needed reasonably priced, effective eyewear, so I checked out several companies, and the reviews were quite good for 4EST. What I received was even better than expected. To begin with, they came in a soft velour sleeve that came inside of a super-solid, circular, bamboo case, along with lens cloth, and instructions. The lens cut through the sun and glare quite well, which was my first concern that was alleviated. Because I have a big cabesa, I took the opinion of many reviewers that they would comfortably fit, and they really do (the arms are stiff/firm, so if you're looking for softer arms, check for other styles/brands). The price was definitely fair. And for those who are looking for ethically sourced materials, this works on all counts plus they plant a tree for every pair made. The delivery was appropriate, and on time. I would definitely recommend these.

They are super well made sunglasses and feel like they are very good quality (not that I had them for very long), but the lenses are way to big. They are very wide and don't look right when actually worn. If the company made a small size lenses they would be perfect

I was completely surprised by the quality and comfort, not to mention style, of these sunglasses. I bought them because I had a few extra bucks on an amazon gift card and needed some sunglasses. I didn't want the basic 'bro' look of Ray Bans but I liked the style. I bought the dark red wood and it looks...amazing. The quality, hands down, feels like it belongs to a much more premium priced set. The lens are polarized so they don't feel like they hinder your vision at all.I will say if you have a wider head, the arm 'hooks' that rest on the ears press tightly against the skin, so if you have sensitive skin and a big head I'd just bear that in mind. Not horrible enough to induce headaches, but to know it has pressure. The wood itself is very well treated and feels like wood, but wood that will last. Just bear in mind it is organic.Overall between style, craftmanship, comfort, and just coolness, these fit well for any age. They are a classic take on a classic look.

I absolutely LOVE my shades! I have shown them off to everyone at work and 2 other people are buying some now as well! Very proud of them. They look awesome, they are great quality and really are better than I had hoped!The only thing I would change is the length of the "side pieces". I have a long head, I know that sounds weird, but if the ear piece was straight even and the curve wasn't bent where it was OR if there was an ear piece that was just a little longer, for people with bigger heads that would be the only thing I would change!Other than that, from the case it arrived in (could be a decorative item itself!) to the overall look and quality it's second to none! Great sidenote, for every pair you buy they plant 2 trees!Here's a picture to show you what I am talking about!

Pros; these glasses fit well to my face and stay in place even when I’m sweating. They are truly polarized (unlike many other sunglasses that just straight up lie about being polarized)Cons; one drop from 4 feet and the lens popped out. I was able to fit it back into place, but it came out too easily. I’m going to attempt to add a little bit of glue to keep the lens in better.If these glasses were either $15 or had better built lenses, I would give them 5 stars.

Ok, so I orded the black bamboo. i got the burnt wood style. Customer service responded within a day or two and offered to send me the rosewood for free to make up for it, I told them to hold off until they can send me the black bamboo, i wouldve waited for this for weeks. They were not down though and send me the rosewood to make up for it. I got a free pair of shades so im not salty and do like the rosewood. But dont hope to achieve black bamboo status, no matter how hard you try.
