Ninehorn Speaker Stands
A**R
Not exactly universal
I purchased a new Vizio sound bar that came with 2 rear satellite speakers. I purchased these for that use. The stands seem durable, they were easy to put together. The base is heavy enough to keep the speaker upright and when everything is tightened, it is sturdy. So why 4 stars instead of 5? Well, one of the features I was most looking forward to was hiding the wire for the speaker. Ideally, a person should be able to feed the wire from the base, up the pole, and out at the top. This is the flaw with this product. If you are mounting older speaker that use speaker wire that doesn't have audio jacks on it, it would work. My speakers came with wires that have 3.5mm audio jacks. The jack doesn't fit though the hole. I have to use wire ties to somewhat conceal the wire. It doesn't affect the performance but does take away from the look of the tower.

Not the quality I expected from some of the reviews
Will it work? Yes. Is it great quality? Not really. First of all, it came with no assembly instructions. That is not a big deal to some, but it would have saved me a little time. I am still not sure how to get the set screw into the plastic piece. I was concerned it would break, so I did not force it.Second, if you have an RCA plug into your speaker, it is tight, and there is no way to hide the wires with these. So have some velcro or zip ties ready. The stands are not very strong, but are adequate to work for small speakers. I did send a message to the seller for instructions, and they may respond. I figured it out before they had a chance to respond. I won't return them due to the hassle.

Might not be capable of supporting described weight, at least not in my experience.
Very poorly illustrated instructions. Stands are difficult to assemble correctly, even when the instructions are available to you. One step in particular can easily room one piece for which there is no backup, nor is there likely to be a local easily found replacement. The stands are barely able to support speakers of much less weight than the speaker weights the stands are rated for, and I have a very hard time believing they would withstand the weight. This is kind of irrelevant, as the very sturdy, balanced, compact, cube shapped surround speaker I was forced to find my own way to mount to the stands, since none of the 3 methods provided with the stands were a valid way to mount these speakers that are easily in the top 5 most commonly used surround speakers in the US. This too is irrelevant, nbecayse after mounting, it was found that the stands themselves were not able to balance the speakers properly, even with the bend in their shape to accommodate for the speakers center of gravity. This was a good design consideration.andnit added a modern looking decorative.touch that was very nice looking, just not enough to counter the weight of speakers much lighter in weight than those claimed to be supported by the product. The bases provided also were a fancy looking touch, adding even more to the overall beauty of this clean, natural, I'd even go so far as to say, organic design, but like the stylistic design of the poles, the base just didn't carry enough weight to save the day. In the end they still allowed for a smaller speaker than the stands are rated for to tip them over. This could be easily solved by simply a larger, or a thicker, not simply a heavier base plate. The pole could be fixed by simply providing a stronger one, be it by using a stronger material, or a pole of greater density..In the end, I had to secure the stands themselves to the corner walls, thus negating the decision to use stands rather than wall mounts. The speaker mounts themselves really need to be of greater quality, provide a higher quality more easily threaded set of nuts, bolts, and washers if various size, so as to safely suspend speakers that are for some of us, an important, yet expensive part of our lives.. I lost nearly 3 weeks pay because I trusted the info about your stands. Maybe my review will prompt some changes. While I hope it's in materials and /or design, I.hope its at least improved instructions, descriptions, and wording about your product

Not good on carpet.
These are decent enough. I bought them for a pair of proprietary speakers for my TV. I had to get the correct screw at the hardware store for them to fit. Set up was easy beyond that. However these stands will not be stable on carpeting. The base is only 7.5" which is barely adequate enough for stability on a hard floor. I put some larger pieces of plywood underneath the base and that worked. However it would be better if they merely increased the base dimensions. It is difficult to see this in the pictures and the description only states the height adjustment and maximum speaker weight. Beyond the problem of the correct screw and unstable base the stands are solid enough. The mount for the speakers is made out of plastic rather than metal so I guess that's why they are cheaper than other stands. Not a problem if one is careful attaching the speaker. The speakers are wireless and the power cord, or any cord with ends, will not fit in the tubing. I used cable ties. These are in a rec room so no big deal.

They work well with my vizio satelite speakers
The small but sturdy base allows me to set the speakers up any where in the room with out the speakers being in the way. I set mine in the corners and they fit perfectly. The adjustable height bar allowed me to set speakers at a level just above lounge chair head rest. I would recommend these stands for anyone with the need or don't want to mount the speakers on the wall.
