Makes it much easier to adjust your tool post holder to hold your tool at the right angle. Very simple to use too. Left knob is adjusted to diameter of the grinding stone. Left knob is for the angle you want to cut the blade (as it is held in the jig against the stone).

I bought this to use with my Grizzly wet stone sharpener as it is far superior to the one that came with the machine. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the price, which is a bit high for a plastic gauge. It does have a magnet in it that makes storing it with the machine easy. Just stick it to the case and it stays there. If it has a down side it is that you need a device that can measure the diameter of the cutting wheel to set it properly because it can't do it by itself but other than that....

This thing works great for its intended purpose, it's solidly constructed and has a magnetic back that makes it's storage on the sharpener that much easier. It just sticks. I purchased this to use with my Grizzly 10" slow speed wet grinder because the angle setter that comes with that sucks. If you lost your Tormek version, you know what you're getting, if you've got a Grizzly, I doubt you'll be disappointed with your purchase.

I purchased a grizzly wet wheel sharpener several years ago and was never happy with the angle setter that came with it. The Tormek angle setter is a much better product and makes setting angles a breeze. The quality is good, and used correctly it will probably last a lifetime.

Very easy to set up and use, rather than guessing, perfect angle every time and saves you time when sharpening tools.

It only works for pronounced bevels such as chisels and the like, not any good for knives.
