Of course it cuts but the spring loaded handle is a nice feature.

I told all the guys if they got the job done on time I'd buy them each a pair of strippers. They were surprised when I handed them these and made good on my offer.I have been using this exact pair of strippers for years. I do actually supply these in the tool kits for new workers if they don't have a pair. These work great, hold up to thousands and thousands of uses, and make me happy with their simplicity. I literally wouldn't buy another model unless they discontinue these, and I lose my current pair in an attic.

These are always great to have . Very inexpensive. Also Klein is pretty much that standard for electricians all over the United States.
