Great product
Love these binoculars. They did come a little out of collimation but that was easy to do fix. I use these for night time star gazing and couldn’t be happier. Very clear. The neck strap they came with is also comfortable. They are a bit heavy to hold up after a little while but I knew they would be. I ordered a monopod (instead of a tripod) to help with the weight. I also got the Caseling hard case and the binoculars fit perfect.

Excellent
Great binoculars! They come with a soft case, a tripod adapter, a cleaning cloth and a strap. The strap is a bit difficult to put the first time, but not a dealbreaker.

Exceptional value! Better specs and performance than any comparable 15X70 that I've ever used.
Great value for the investment. Image is clear and sharp. Eye relief is phenomenal. The only weakness is the adapter. Much trembling and movement making it extremely difficult to focus BUT I replaced it with a Nikon 7650 Binocular Tripod Adapter and voila, it is now stable and rock-solid. PROBLEM SOLVED.

Great For Astronomy
Hear me now and believe me later, these are a terrific value and perfect for astronomy. I have the Celestron Skymaster 15x70's and while they are very good, 12x70 is better. The 3x less mag difference is not much but it does allow for a noticeable increase in brightness. I much more prefer 12x70 than 15x70. You will too.

Received a broken unit in a brand new box.
The bracket connecting the eyepieces was broken when I received them as brand new. The box and cushioning inside were intact. I'll need to look at better brands if it's this fragile or that it would come broken from the factory.

Good quality for the price. You can get a pretty detailed view of the moon which makes these wonderful for aspiring astronomers. They are a bit heavy however my 5 year old can hold them almost steady and uses them often. We are going to get a tripod though which is what I’d suggest if purchasing these for young kids. And alternatively, they are awesome for adults too!

For astronomy use, it focusses nicely at infinity, mechanisms are smooth. Prisms are very well aligned for left and right sides. Since these are only 12x, not 15x, prism alignment isn't as critical. Minimum focus distance is 45 ft for these (they say 59ft), so birdwatching is fine. Better than my Barskas. Average quality lenses, they are sharp only in the centre 3/4 field of view. Stars look out of focus around the edge of view, with blue and red colour fringing and coma distortion. The right lens is best (closing the left eye) which is sharp all the way from the right side to 1/4 from the left edge. Closing the right eye, the left lens is worse, fuzzy for 1/3 of the view to the right, and 1/4 to the left. I also have Barska 15x70s and Celestron Skymaster 15x70 and these have slightly wider central sharp focus areas. The carrying case is just fabric, dust proof but doesn't protect the binocs if they get dropped. My Barskas got dropped and broken in their cheap fabric case. Doing astronomy in the dark-- accidents happen. A hard case would be better.
