Suspenseful Page Turner
Another book by Ms Eden that I was not able to put down till I finished it!! This storyline was suspenseful, intense at times, action packed and the romance, well that was off the charts! As soon as you start reading, this book takes off.... Alice May is getting married or is she? When the groom dies in a crash on his way to the wedding and a dead body is found, Alice May realizes her soon to be husband is the Secret Admirer that has killed 5 woman. Fast forward a year later and a new dead body. Is this a copy cat killer, did Alice May's fiancée really die? Undercover FBI Zander Todd's job is to find out was Alice May involved? Problem is, it's no longer a job for Zander, he is falling in love with her. The twists and turns that Ms Eden takes you through to the end are exhilarating. Every time I think I have one of her books figured out she puts another twist in that I never expect. If you love a good romantic, suspenseful book, this is the book for you!

SECRET ADMIRER by Cynthia Eden (A Novella)
SECRET ADMIRER was a chilling romantic suspense that I very much enjoyed. It's the story of a woman named Alice May, who discovers on her wedding day that not only has her fiancee been killed, but that he was also a twisted serial killer. Now a year later, Alice is holed up in a small cabin in the woods, living in both seclusion and fear... Zander Todd is an FBI agent working undercover to ferret out any and all of Alice May's secrets. But while doing his duty Zander does the unthinkable and ends up falling in love with his target. Unfortunately for the two of them, their passion for each other is what will ultimately send an obsessed stalker over the edge...I have to admit that my favorite type of romantic suspense almost always revolves around stalkers and serial killers, so this story was right up my alley. Then there was Alice and Zander, both of whom I completely adored and thought were not only perfect together but truly made for each other too. Their passion was hot and intense, and the two love scenes were well timed and overall just felt right. I hate to admit that some parts (including the killer) were pretty predictable though, which is the reason I knocked off one star. However, there was a nice twist I never saw coming, and overall it was a fast and thrilling read I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.Pages & Kindle Locations: The story itself contained 218 of 221 pages and ended at 96% and location 1935 of 2019 on my kindle device.

“New City, New Home, New Alice”
What do you do when your fiancé is killed on his way to your wedding, a dead body is found in his car, and you are suspected of being his accomplice in the murders of 5 women? You move, for sure, and stop trusting anyone. Alice became a shell of her former self. She doesn’t know the FBI is watching her every move. And so is someone else!A good who-done-it, a little predictable, but also does have some good surprises and twists to the storyline! A sweet romance rounds out the story. “Secret Admirer” by author Cynthia Eden is an enjoyable read.

Great book
I have always liked Eden's books. I also enjoy books about serial killers. This one was very good. Suspenseful and good background of the killer. You do not find many books today about serial killers, they seem to have fallen out of favor with authors, unfortunately. I was delighted when I found this one. There are not many authors today who can write a good story, most are more sex than plot or they are pure fluff. Ms Eden please keep writing.

Not great, not bad
This book pulled me in with the hook, the beginning scenes and the interesting story. It flowed really well with the beginning of the relationship between the hero and heroine. The relationship was progressing at a good pace, but, like most of Cynthia Eden books the sex happens too soon. By that I mean that the story hasn't really had time to develop, the hero and heroine's interaction together isn't very developed. I realize there is back story that is alluded to between them (he's been a handyman for her while she's been hiding from society in a cabin in the woods), but when the reader is brought into the story it seems like there is some dialog, a few separate scenes and then suddenly they're sleeping together. For me as a reader I would like a little more story to build up to this point but it seems to be one of the author's patterns she employs in all the books I've read by her so far.Again, the story was interesting, the writing was good. It's a quick read and the story line is interesting. My only complaint is what was mentioned above, other than that I did enjoy the story, and would recommend it to someone else.

Secret Admirer Awesome book it Rocked
OMG I loved this book and story line between Zander and Alice and poor Alice and her ex who turn out not to be the killer at all and her soon to be brother in law was the killer and wow wasn't a fan of Randall at all such a douche when it came to Alice and if she did what he accused her of doing with Hugh because neither of them did and wow Tiffany going after Alice as well working with Johnathon glad they got him before anyone else got hurt and in the end Zander and Alice did get married Thanks for an amazing book and Cynthia is an amazing author

If romantic suspense is your forte - you are missing much unless you're reading Cynthia Eden. Love, devour everything she writes and pre-order everything else. I'm a voracious reader and this author is one of my top ten. Read one and you'll be going back for more and more and lucky you she's been writing for quite some time so there's a lot to keep you occupied.

This was a nice return to a Mystery, and Suspense genre. Alice May, the bride left at the altar finds out that Hugh, her fiancee is a serial killer called "The Secret Admirer", and that the women killed look just like her. Alice May, moved to a small town hoping to start her life again, where no one knows her. Unfortunately the killings begin again, and the FBI believe Alice May is a partner in crime of the original serial killer. Enters the local handy man, Zander whose really an FBI agent trying to trap Alice. Things become complicated when Zander realizes he has feelings for Alice, and now the killer is after Alice. Fast paced action, and an unexpected twist in the story that I like.

unbelievable, predictable and boring
CE is one of my favourite authors but this book is unbelievable, predictable and boring, I'm really disappointed with this story and I found it hard to connect with the characters and I couldn't wait to finish the book, I wanted to give up reading many times but I kept going and I still didnt change my feelings about the book.

Secret stalker
No surprises in this predictable but fun drama, was the serial killer acting alone or did he have an accomplice, zander intends to find out getting close to Alice to see if she had anything to do with it.Definitely entertaining and a a look. Good characters and dialogue and the plot is ok.

A Quick & Suspenseful Story
Secret Admirer was a quick, suspenseful story. That pulled me in from the start. As it had enough twists and turns to hold my interest and keep me guessing. Not to mention a sweet romance. That was enjoyable to read and I would happily recommend it to others.

A Novella by Cynthia Eden
Cynthia Eden is a fab writer and whilst I liked this book overall I feel it needed to be teased out a bit more, rather than a novella it should have been a full novel, this would have given Alice and Zander more time to interact, and for Alice to resolve her feelings towards her fianace and the secrets Zander has been keeping. A novel would have also allowed the cultivation of a more multi-dimensional bad guy.
