These are very nice lights. We expected them to work “ok” but they are high quality and work amazing. One light the motion sensor is slightly less sensitive than the other but still awesome. These are as work light under a cabinet and they go from very bright to very dim. They remember the last setting. So if you move hand quickly to turn them off and they were dim, the next time you turn them on they will be at the same level. Word of caution. There are two power plug inserts. One at each end. Use the one with the big red arrow pointing to it so the sensor works. The other end bypasses the sensor

I put this light under a cabinet in my old 50's kitchen and it works beautifully. Nice bright white light and I love the dimmable feature. The fixture is thin enough that even tho my old cabinets do not have the face frame that extends down past the bottom of the shelf it is still almost invisible. Of course it helps that my cabinets are white. I really like the motion sensor switch on and off. Working on the counter does not trip it...you have to have your hand about and inch from the fixture to turn it on or off. For the price and the whole 15 minutes it took to put it up, this is a good buy.

Love this product! I can’t rave enough! I chose the warm lights for my kitchen. I use the lights for 2 purposes. First they are bright and so helpful for food prep. Second when I’m not cooking I dim the lights for ambiance.The lights are super easy to install. Just make sure you have an outlet nearby. I used the 2 sided tape and no screws. Before installing I put guidelines on the underside of the cabinet to ensure that they were straight. I connected 4 lights together in a L shape. Finally I drilled holes in the underside of the cabinet to hide the excess cord.

This little LED light is awesome ! They come in different sizes. You can daisy chain/connect these lights together on the counter, under the counter, on the ceiling, on the wall, in cabinets, where ever you want, then run the power cable to the wall plug. Some are dimmable some are not. Mine was dimmable. Some are silver & black the others are all white. Mine was all white. They come both with 3M sticky tape & small screws to install with. Just waive your hand over the lens turns it on & off...

Second purchase from E-Shine. I love these under cabinet lights. So easy to install and hide the cords with the included clips. Easy wave activated on/off that works every time. The cool white light is nice and bright, illuminating my counter top to well for food prep. I rarely turn on the overhead kitchen lights, these are so bright. I was happy to find this 12 inch model, which brings light to the small side cabinet next to the stove. I also have 3 of the longer lights daisy chained under the cabinets along the wall. I love love love them.Update Aug 2018:I have had the ‘new’ EShine dimable light installed for a few weeks now. I find it less dependable than the original lights I installed in 2017, which turn off/on with a single wave of the hand. This newer version takes multiple waves to respond. I cant seem to find the sweet spot. I am not sure if it is due to the dimable feature or if I just got a bad light. I do want 1 more set, but I will be ordering the ‘original’ again, not this ‘new’ model.

This product would rate five stars if it would just reliably perform its two tasks. It is supposed to power on and off, and then dim or brighten via the sensor. There is no mechanical "On/Off" switch. My experience with it is that it will cut on and off reasonably well with a hand wave. However getting the dimming or brightening feature to work may require hiring a magician to be in constant attendance during its operation. It might take a normal person ten or twelve tries to get this function to activate. Its mounting instructions warn not to get the sensor close to anything, so then these problems might be foreseeable, but definitely a deal-breaker if this light doesn't settle down and work right. After purchase contact by the seller resolved the situation favorably, so I upgraded the review to four stars.

Very easy to install though won't be easy to remove due to the double-sided sticky tape which runs the entire length of the unit. You can screw it up with the included screws or use only some of the tape as options. I just didn't want to bother. The plug is quite large and plugs in sideways so the cord emerges to the side of the receptacle. It works beautifully actually. Just working underneath it on your kitchen countertop isn't going to wave it off or dim it. I installed it with the photoelectric eye at the rear and facing the wall. For best work space lighting, install it so it lines up with the center of the countertop below and not all the way to the back of the cabinet.

I haven't installed this yet, but I have plugged it in and tried it. I'll be replacing a fluorescent under-cabinet light that is at least 25 years old, so I was very surprised that this one was so much smaller and lighter than my old light. Although I wasn't looking for a light with an IR sensor, I think I will really like this feature as I will be using the light over the kitchen sink. I plan to use the adhesive strip to install mine, although screws are included. It's so light that I think the adhesive strip will work well. I don't know how it will hold up over time, but the IR sensor works well, and the light is quite bright.Update: I have finally installed these lights, and they are awesome! I even ordered one more. The IR sensor works perfectly.

Glad you asked for input as I was about to contact the company direction. The Motion operation does NOT work! I had to unplug the unit to turn off the Light. Passing my hand under the fixture feature does not work!!!!! Also the intensity of the light is extremely weak so it has very little value. I am totally disappointed with this fixture. My concern is if I return the fixture, removing it from under the counter may cause damage to the fixture/cabinet

I got my first (20*) almost two years ago and it has been wonderful and has worked perfectly ever since.Now I'm going to take down that still perfect 20* and replace it with a 40". I got extra 20" versions for other areas which is good since Purolator can't seem to deliver to my sister and so I may have to post her one..Every mrning I wave my hand under the light. It's hard to believe that something at that price could work so well and for so long!

The media could not be loaded.  It works perfect and super easy to install. It's dimmable and it has memory so the light remains at the brightness that you set up last. As a note make sure you plug the cord on the correct side of the light (I'm attaching a video) the first time I tried it, it worked perfect, day of installation didn't work, the motion wasn't responding, I was ready to refund it then I plug it on the other end and wala!! Never read the instructions it probably mentions that : ) I'll order more to complete my whole new kitchen. I'll post pics once installed.

The light itself is very attractive and bright enough. Problem is I can't turn it off or dim it. The sensor is not working. I moved the light around and made sure it was at least five inches away from anything and still no go. Update: I had the power supply plugged into the wrong side. Works perfect now and would buy another.

I love this light. It replaced an old fluorescent one mounted over my kitchen sink. This is much brighter than the fluorescent. The motion detection is brilliant. Just a wave of the hand to turn on or off. And the dimming feature is great. Just hold your hand under the sensor and you can go from very bright to a nice little night light. Excellent purchase.
