Big Joe Milano Lenox Denim Cobalt Beanbag Chair

I just got this adorable small bean bag chair for my students, and I’m honestly in love with it! It’s the perfect size — cozy, comfy, and made just for kids. My students feel so grown-up having their own special chair for reading, or relaxing. The design is super cute, the material is soft yet sturdy, and it fits perfectly in any room. It’s such a fun and functional piece.

If you are looking for the perfect chair for a pre-teen who has outgrown toddler furniture but still wants something fun, the Big Joe Milano is it. We bought this for our 10-year-old’s room, and it has quickly become the most used seat in the house. The Perfect "In-Between" Size: Finding a chair for a 10-year-old can be tricky. This is large enough for him to grow into over the next few years, but it doesn't take up half the bedroom. Even as an adult, I’ve sat in it and found it surprisingly comfy!

Animal prints and bean bag chairs have been around for a long time. And when you combine the two, you get a chic look that is comfortable as well. The somewhat muted colors in the snow leopard print compliment my livingroom decor, and it provides extra seating in my small apartment. I like that it is structured with a back and arms. The feel of the faux fur is like a rabbit jacket that I had years ago but without the shedding. If you need to add extra filling there are 2 zippers on the bottom, one on top of each other. They don't have zipper pulls. This is a safety feature, and it also prevents the beans from spilling out as soon as you open it. I used a safety pin through the hole where the zipper pull would be. Unfortunately, the cover is not removable. So it has to be spot cleaned. It has a handle of the same fabric for easy portability. When I tried it out, it fit me perfectly and I found myself falling asleep. I didn't think I would be sitting in it so much. But it is great to watch TV, read a book, use an iPad ot just daydreaming while enjoying a cup of coffee. Even though this bean bag chair is an ideal space and size for my body (I'm 5' 2" and weigh 95 lbs), it might be difficult to get up and down in it if you have long legs or problems with your knees or legs. It sits close to the ground. It would make a great gift for small grandkids and teenagers. Even though I am way past that age, I thoroughly enjoy the comfort and relaxation it gives me. Side note: I did buy extra filling when I need to plump up the shape.

AMAZING!! I got this for my daughter's room to fill a corner - and act as a spot for her to do some reading - and I couldn't be happier! I've had to buy some filler for it, but it's super cheap ($20) and is very easy to fill! Plus, this thing is comfy!! 10/10

When it was delivered it was stiff not hard it had a good bit of soft squish like a cushion but over the month I’ve had it (it was delivered September 8, it’s now September 30) it steadily got softer and softer and more squishy. I use it every day several times a day sometimes for long periods. I’m not a big person (5’4 138) just for reference purposes. It’s now at the point of being very much a beanbag chair but still had a back. Sitting in it is like sitting in a nest. So incredibly comfortable especially with the back that feels supportive but soft enough for a nice lounge sesh. I love it. My only complaint is that can be difficult to get out of especially if you have limitations or a disability. My I have weakness in my legs and an extremely bad balance and there has been some times I seriously struggled to get out. Mostly of the time even though I have limitations I can out of it easily. As it gets squishier it does get closer to the ground so keep that in mind too. But OH MY GOSH THE COMFORT!!!! It’s amazing. The topic ideas for the review mention Fuffect. I’m not exactly sure what that means but it’s a cool word and I would say the chair has fluffect is meaning fluffy. It gets fluffy. Over time you will need to grab the little (fabric) handle on the back top to shake it a bit into place/shape before you sit down if you don’t do it when you get up. I always just give it a little shake before sitting. The color is amazing. Just like the picture above. Nice and vibrant but so not overwhelming. Just a fun vibe and added charm. Living in the southwest desert it has gotten dirty pretty fast but it’s been holding up great with our monsoon rains so it is very weather friendly and dries so very quickly. The chair will actually resist be rain and I have gone out and seen a little puddle in the seat which you can just shake off and sit down with minimal wetness. The quality is fantastic!! This chair is worth every single penny. You might thing with a company like Big Joe you’re buying the name but it’s not the name, it’s the quality of their products that make them so popular and special. UPDATE - 4 Months Later, it’s a blob. It doesn’t even look like a chair anymore and it looks like most of the filling was removed- I can explain it but this beanbag chair is now very floppy and sad. Still comfortable but it’s not a chair like the description pictured, it’s a blob of questionable like choices. I expected better from Big Joe, they use to be amazing, now you’re spending money on a glorified sack of potatoes. After 4 months you will be sitting on the ground, comfortably but still only mere inches from the ground.
