After a quick wash and dry with Dr. Brommer's soap right out of the package, I took the Fat Boy for a spin. I figured it was not appropriately sized for fitting over an average penis and I was correct, but I took a moment to see, nonetheless. It was really too big even for a masturbation sleeve. The sport is on my wish list for a future order, despite my issue with the product as detailed below. Having taken a moment to confirm the size inappropriateness for going over my OWN penis, I moved on to my goal: fattening up my favorite dildo. I typically prefer silicone lube, but for this purpose I was careful only to use Wet® brand water-based lubricant. There was never any contact with any other of my toys or lubes, only my old Tom Chase dildo I'd had for years but couldn't use very often due to its rigidity and latex content. Fitting the sleeve over lubed Tom Chase was easy and the balls strap kept the sleeve from sliding off the lubed dildo. Sitting on the combined toy was an amazing experience I couldn't wait to enjoy again. I took a quick shower then returned to gather and clean my play space and toys, but sadly the sleeve had already broken! The strap itself had snapped and the body of the sleeve had split more than an inch. Since maybe three or four minutes of "action" and then sitting idle for ten minutes can't compare to the physical stresses of an actual intercourse session, I can't come up with any valid reason for this display of poor durability. I tried to explain it away by contamination or oxidation or the toy being too big, but none of these potential issues was true in this case. Even the Tom Chase replica should not have led too catastrophic failure so quickly and on first use. I had inspected the sleeve for any blemishes or flaws while washing it and found nothing that seemed worrisome. Therefore I was left with strong disappointment in the product. For my few minutes of glee alone I would gladly have given 5 stars. It was great! But complete failure within minutes of proper use warrants the most negative review. Two stars is a fair warning to consumers and plea to the manufacturers for improved QA, plus to "middle men" to store, package, and transport the product responsibly. I determined myself to follow through with a request for replacement in hopes that I'd only a flawed product. Unfortunately I'm a poster child for non-medicated ADD Nonattentive Type (out of sight out of mind) and never remembered to follow through. Were I not on a fixed income I'd simply purchase another for more empirical evidence and hope the first one I received was that rare flawed piece that somehow passed all the inspections before packaging. I encourage others to provide details on how many uses they get before inevitable failure (nothing lasts forever) and details of the nature of eventual failure. It's a new product and we all have to contribute to QA for improvements. Of further note, I have used several Oxballs products (and more others than I care to recount) and learned from experience what NOT to do. Oxballs' products have improved during that time; the same would presumably be true for Perfect Fit, as well, given customer input.
