Sanguine scissors are a good product but NOT so good customer service.
The only reason I am giving a 4 instead of 5 is due to shipping not being clear and Sanguine not responding to my emails. I love the scissors though. They are very stylish and super sharp. Very sturdy and the case will make me put a conscious effort into keeping them cleaned and polished. Will definitely order again when these wear out, Since I now know what to expect of shipping. Regarding that, as an fyi to other shoppers in the U.S. you will not be given tracking info. Amazon will just say "the vendor shipped it such and such date" and to "contact the vendor for details." Don't waste your time as you won't get a response from Sanguine. Just await patiently. I may try to just go straight through the company next time to test if shipping is a more clear process.

Bad thumb holes
I have an older variation of these scissors without the nice color. The handle on these is far worse for some reason. Does not feel ergonomic. They do I clue thumb grips which is a nice addition but I prefer to feel the metal myself.

Best scissors for cutting hair...I really mean it!
I have long, pretty thick and wavy hair. I've been cutting my own hair for quite a few years using the "ponytail method." It has been hard to get the cut right because my scissors were, well, crappy. I purchased these when my sister borrowed her husband's pair that he uses for his beard. I cut her hair with his scissors and knew I had to have a set. I'm very happy with them and only use them to cut my hair. It's a great product at a very fair price.
