Brilliant extension vital bit of my Bosch armoury!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Handy little extension – strong and super easy to use! Picked this up to use with my Bosch spade bits, and it’s been brilliant. The quick-change mechanism is smooth and holds the bits tight—no wobble, no slipping. It’s especially useful when you’re drilling in awkward spots or through deeper timber where the standard bit just won’t reach. Feels solid and well-made, like you'd expect from Bosch. Great little add-on for the toolbox. If you're using self cut spade bits, this makes the job way easier and more flexible.

Pricey for what it is, but the build quality definitely justifies it. I’ve been using this extension for around a year now, mainly with larger spade bits, and it’s held up really well. There are no signs of warping or twisting, which is something I’ve experienced with cheaper extensions when putting them under load. The locking mechanism is solid and reliable. The bits click firmly into place, similar to an impact driver chuck, and I’ve not had a single spade bit come loose during normal use. That alone makes a big difference when you’re drilling repeatedly or overhead. One thing to note, this applies to most extension bits, not just this one, if you’re using smaller spade bits (around 16–20mm), you can occasionally run into an issue when pulling out of a hole packed with wood chips. The resistance can cause the sliding lock to release, leaving the spade bit stuck in the hole. To avoid this, either clear the hole regularly while drilling, or wrap some electrical tape around the sliding lock to keep it from moving It’s not a dealbreaker, and like I said, it’s something I’ve seen across multiple brands, not specific to this one. Overall, it’s a simple bit of kit, but if you regularly use spade bits, especially larger sizes it’s well worth spending a bit extra on something that won’t let you down.
