Honestly, I am keeping the notebook for the very nice cover and pages, not for the Elfin software. I started trying to use the notebook in the way I had envisioned: writing notes, jotting ideas, etc. and then sending them off to the file of my choosing. However, the Elfin software sends all pictures to one place and then you have to sort them out. I downloaded the Rocketbook software, printed the pages that they offer for free and taped the symbols to the bottom of the page. Not ideal, but I now have what I wanted.If you do not care if your notebook pages have lines, or if they look better than a basic notebook, then buy the Rocketbook. If you do not care if your files end up in one place and you have to sort them out later, then buy the Elfin. Until then, I will have something in between.

Not the best quality I do not expect this notebook to last long. The outer cover is leather smells like leather the inside is definitely not leather. On arrival the stitching was already coming out of the inside I’ve attached a picture. The paper feels thin And flimsy, and it would be nice if there was a reinforcement on the pages of the six ring binder as when you turn the pages the circle that holds is already starting to get worn. I have use this as a journal and have filled it up and erased it twice. Once I tried to erase with a damp cloth and once I tried to erase with the hairdryer. Both times there are still indentations from the pen and not everything erased and it would be nice if there was a reinforcement on the pages of the six ring binder as when you turn the pages the circle to hold a pages in is already starting to get worn. Both times there are still indentations from the pen writing on the paper and I can still see the words and this is only the second time using it. I don’t see how this can be used up to 500 times or up to 10 times or much more at all for a “reusable“ notebook. The reusablity definitely seem very limited. Would not really recommend for long-term use, but could possibly make a good planner, as long as you don’t keep it in a super hot place as it will erase the words on your pages.

I love writing with pen and paper, even in today's modern world where paperless tech has become the norm. I'm also very conscious of the impact that using traditional paper has on the planet. How many trees have been cut down just I could write notes during my high school years? So when I found a reusable notebook, I was absolutely thrilled with the idea. Not only could I write notes, doodle or get my ideas on paper when I forget to charge my iPad, but I could do so guilt-free. I search through a lot of similar notebooks, until I settled on this one. While I was a bit iffy at first because of the price, I told myself that one of these notebooks would be hundred of others. So I took a deep breath and clicked the order button.Two days later my notebook arrived at my apartment. I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't extremely excited and filled with a child like glee at getting this new notebook in my mail. The packaging surprised me. Instead of the notebook just being thrown in the package and shipped, it was in a really nifty little box. When I opened said box, I fell in love with the design. The images online, do not do justice to this notebook.The notebook is well built and sturdy, it looks like it's going to hold up to my abuse for a while. The feel of the pages is unique and extremely interesting to someone as tactical as I am. The way the pen ink flows across the paper as I write is flawless. Erasing any mistakes that I make is as simple as using the eraser on the pen. I haven't yet used other methods to erase my writing on the pages, but if I can remember I'll update the review when I do. However, using just the pen eraser completely removes the writing with little to no indication that I had ever written anything on the page to begin with.I have never been more pleased with a notebook in my life! The fact that I can remove or add pages is a huge plus, and was actually one of the reasons that I chose the version of the Elfinbook that I did. I will definitely be buying another Elfinbook or two for myself and a few for family when I get the chance.The app that complements the notebook works flawlessly, and the VIP access code that came with my notebook worked without flaw. I really appreciate the ability to convert my notes to a digital format that I can backup in several places if needed, or send them to other people.To anyone looking for a reusable notebook, look no further. I wholeheartedly endorse, and advocate for the purchase of this notebook. I realize I'm just some text from a random person on the internet, but I promise you won't be disappointed. Give the notebook a try.

My pages got a little wavy after I microwaved them and that was disappointing. I also got frustrated at how long the ink takes to dry. If you write on multiple pages quickly, it will smudge.

Today is my day to upload and erase my notes for the week. This experiment started when the semester for my seminary program began and I love my Elfinbook. Takes me about 30 minutes to upload a week’s worth of notes and erase the pages. I use washable microfiber cloths. No paper waste and I am saving tons of space on my bookshelves. Could not be happier!

Love it! So much so I’ve given it as gifts. I have both this one and the leather bound. I like them both. The leather bound one lays flat better. This one sits/fits better next to my recliner 😀I haven’t used the app much. That’s not why I got it. I just love being able to wipe a page clean and it over and over.

It' ok. I purchased this mainly because it came with a nice cover. The quality of the paper was somewhat disappointing, but it does erase as described. I use the pen it comes with and it works well. I have also used the felt tip version of the pen, but it never, ever dries. Have not used the software since I don't really need to.
