The handle is not plastic. The handle is made out of same material as the hammer but it is painted and detailed to show it's design so it will definitely have some heft to it. Definitely nicely built.

Which one is better, this one or the one from the avengers? like the durability and stuff

I did't get the one from the avengers but the one I got is very durable. Plus I don't know what the avengers one is made of. Mine is solid pewter love it
