Great Buy
We already have 1 & 2lb loaf tins, but my problem with those was the size of loaf they produced. Was looking for a larger-sized bread tin and this fitted the bill wonderfully well. Light, attractive and produced a great loaf first time. Highly recommended.

Buy two for a great steam baked bread system
I make a lot of slow proof-rise high hydration sourdough breads using the dutch oven method. When time is short, for everyday family bread I have been using a Panasonic breadmaker Which makes OK bread if you haven’t been spoiled. I decided to see if I could make a quick to prepare machine made dough but baked in a tin. Bought two of these German pans as noticed they are cleverly designed with handles that allow secure locking together. So 750 g flour, 1g quick acting dried yeast, 75g very active (do float test) starter, 4g sea salt, 1g diastatic malt and 450 g water was placed in breadmaker and set on the standard white dough setting which takes 2h 20min. Took dog for walk and came back to take dough out of machine. Simply shaped into a batard and dropped seam down into one of the tins. No bench rest. Covered and placed in fridge for overnight proof rise. Spritz with water and sprinkle with bran and wheatgerm then slash. Bake in preheated oven at 240C for 25 mins then remove top pan lid and bake for further 30 mins at 210C. See pics for final result. A 1.2Kg family loaf that looks and tastes great. Benefits. Very quick prep. No hand stretching. Very minimal shaping. No need to put boiling water in base of oven for first 20 mins which you shoukd do if using an open bread tin, as this steams itself and had a really good oven spring. The pans extremely non stick, no need to grease. Fantastic non-stick surface but obviously needs careful cleaning. Really what you get is a brilliant “dutch oven” type of system for 2x£10 because of the well thought out design of the handles on these pans. German engineering at its best again!

It’s a bit bigger than most bread tins! Really good quality though

Gluten free bread heaven
This has made making gluten free bread so easy. These gluten free mixes are wet and sticky and before I bought these tins I was always having hit and miss results with free form loaves on pizza stones, the end result was usually pretty to look at but when cutting bits fell off. I can now put the wet mix directly into these tins, I bought two, so I put the lid on and leave it to rise in the tin. An hour or so later put the whole thing Dutch oven style in the oven until cooked. Easy to remove the bread by flipping the tins over so you can put it on a cooling rack. The loaf is as you can see in the photos, smooth and will cut easily. The opposite dimple feature on the lids is just brilliant allowing them to lock together.

The coating peels off!
It is a pity that the coating comes off as it is a really useful size! Unfortunately quality of the coating is terrible so do not buy!

Makes an excellent 2lb loaf.
Really good..even heat distribution...good non-stick surface..works well every time.

Poor quality
What a disappointment! The bread mould/roasting pan did look of a fairly good quality and is very light but after a few uses the coating started to peel off and the steel/aluminium? to get rusty.

J'ai acheté ce produit , génial plus de papier sulfurisé , rien ne colle et refroidi très vite , simplement passer a l'eau savonneuse bien chaude , parfait , très haute qualité , les brioches poussent et se démoulent sans coller , le pain est excellent , j'en ai acheter 2 , magnifique Donne envie de cuisiner je recommande ce produit

Ho aspettato prima di recensire! Ho fatto lievitare il pane nello stampo ed in frigo, poi messo in forno! Il pane è venuto cotto bene e non si è assolutamente attaccato!

Va estupendo, leí los comentarios y por eso lo compré, es todavía mejor. Cuando llegó y vi lo poco que pesaba no tenía confianza en el, pero los resultados han sido muy buenos, ponía que había que engrasarlo, le puse al molde con pincel un poco de aceite y encima semolina por que la harina aveces se me quema. El pan ha salido solo, sin pegarse nada y solo he tenido que limpiar el molde con papel. Me quedé asombrada pues nunca había tenido un molde tan bueno. Por el precio que tiene espero que me dure mucho. Salió un pan con semillas de 1 kilo y 300 gramos
